I have always had this problem with other people answering their cellphone calls in the wrong place at the wrong time, like in the public transport. I find it annoying, especially if the call is too personal and the person taking the call doesn't care of the people's reactions around him! Don't you think it's annoying? /:(

Yeah, really makes you wish that people were more sensitive to these kinds of things...

It's definitely disrespectful, but it's done so much nowadays that it doesn't even bother me anymore. What does bug me is they start talking very loudly and especially when it's loud and personal, or when they excessively curse. I do find myself wishing sometimes that there be a law on where you can and can't answer your phone. And I wish people came with a dial so can turn the volume aaall the way down.. heh!

Actually there's an ordinance in one city in our country that forbids the use of cellphones inside the moviehouse, especially during the movie...but they just don't get it, they still persist in leaving their cellphones on all throughout the movie disrupting the audience everytime he gets a call or receives a text message...make you wanna go up to that guy and pour popcorn on his lap ;)

I work ar a resturant. And I think its very rude when people talk on their phones while I am trying to serve them. Also if you are hanging out with friends and they pick up their phone and call someone. That is also rude.

Thanks for sharing.
Yes, exactly. I do find it offensive when when we're already in a very deep conversation and then suddenly this person decides to take a call without even excusing himself...really inconsiderate.

If you feel compelled to answer the phone find a private spot away from a crowd. If you are dining or meeting with other people and you need to receive an important call ask permission first. Use the silent or vibrate ringer as much as possible when in public.
I hope these types are helpful.
