So what did you guys think?
Personally, I think Aaron should have gone home. He keeps proving that he's not up to the physical demands of the job, he shouldn't still be there. I don't know WHY Rock didn't pick him for elimination.
The girls came together pretty nicely, that was awesome to see. I was shocked when Chef Ramsey ordered the guys out of the kitchen. Not because it wasn't warranted, but because I would have expected him to just shut the kitchen down. Although with the girls doing well I guess it made more sense to just let them handle all the orders.
What are your thoughts?

I have watched from the very first show, and haven't been so annoyed about someone leaving the show! Eddie made a mistake with the spaghetti - BIG DEAL! In comparison to Aaron, that was not anything to be ashamed of whatsoever! I am understanding of others who suffer from anxiety, as I have in the past. However, when Ramsey asked Aaron if he was "playacting," I was wondering the same thing! His blank appearance did not appear to be genuine at all! I have to agree with others that he was saved this week due to his not being perceived as a threat.

Yeah I agree with you. In my opinion I think Aaron should have left. And seeing him smoke really got me even more pissed off. Because if he's overweight and is having problems then he shouldn't be smoking. Smoking makes things harder for him and it's probably making it hard for him to breathe. His blank appearance didn't seem genuine at all i think it was just an act. And by not picking him to be eliminated was a good strategy because so far Aaron has shown us that he is not a threat to anybody.

Yes, I believe that Aaron's smoking is definitely slowing him down. There are other chefs who smoke, but he does has some added weight, and he has to work that much harder, as a result. I have gained some extra weight this past year, and have found it much more difficult to breathe. I can't imagine how much more difficult it is for him to breathe with the smoking affecting his performance.

Oh, i know what you all mean about Aaron. Seriously, I don't know why Gordon chose to be so nice to him. I mean, sure it was nice that he took him aside, but he has just yelled at other people who have done stuff like that in the past. I dunno, maybe he was worried that Aaron was going to have a heart attack or something. I'm sure Aaron is a nice guy, but he should have just volunteered to go home. The poor man ended up sweating into people's dinners as they tried to eat and took so long deboning the fish that it was cold by the time he was done. Eddie screwed up some spaghetti and he got the boot? Kinda strange if you ask me.
Perhaps Rock is keeping Aaron around because he is less of a threat? Or maybe because his signature dish was half good and he respected that. It is a shame though because if Aaron doesn't manage to rally from whatever is ailing him, the guy's team may never win a challenge.

last night was the first time i have ever seen it but i really liked it. i was very surprised that aaron did go but if its what i think it is then why get rid f the ones you know you can do better then. is that how it works? do they go against each other in the end? if so then he would be crcazy to get rid of the one he knows has no chance.

I also like this show. I was surprised to see Eddie voted off last night as well. I'm not sure what the strategy is to keeping Aaron around, but so much goes on be hind the scenes that we don't see. But I agree with you, it's clear he is not up for the physical or emotional demands of the job. He also seems to really lack confidence in himself which also seems to really hamper his ability to be competitive. I mean in some cases he didn't even contribute to the team!
This show has really opened my eyes to what a high pressure world it is being a high-class chef...or anyone who cooks professionaly for that matter.

I was so bummed that Eddie got the boot so early. Aaron should have been the one to go home . . . and he wasn't even nominated! IMO, Josh could've hit the road, too, but not Eddie!
I don't think Eddie was given a fair shot. Sure, he messed up the spaghetti, but his mistakes were nowhere close to Aaron: let's see, Aaron slept for 4+ hours during the challenge and the guys' punishment, he whines and cries, took 15 minutes to debone a fish at the diners' tables, and dripped sweat into the meals, as well! Can you see Aaron running his own restaurant? Um . . . NO!
Eddie is a little dude with big dreams. I just don't think he was given a fair chance to prove himself.

I love this show. I think Aaron should have went home as well. He isn't hanging in there. The girls did very good, I was really impressed. I was suprised he didn't just shut the kitchen down as well.

I love that show. I think Rock see Josh as a possible strong competitor and took the chance to try and get rid of him early. I can't believe Aaron is still there. I thought for sure he'd be gone the first time the guys lost...he's an emotional wreck
