My Confession? Want to Confess Something, too?

A while ago I found out something strange. I was responsible for a guy being forced out of his job (technically, he quit). He was a senior rep where I worked. I worked in the biggest company of its kind in my part of the country. The guy disliked women and was very arrogant. Thankfully, I rarely had direct contact with him. My friend (she didn't work with me) told me one day that she knew his girlfriend. There was about a 15 or 20 year ago difference between the two and my friend said his girlfriend was abused by him. She shared with me a scene where he appeared at a local club where she was having dinner and grabbed her by the arm, dragged her to the front of the room and started screaming "do you guys want to f@$k this pig?" He went on and on like that until he was dragged out, leaving her bruised and crying. There were plenty of other stories too. One day I was chatting with our mutual boss and told him the story. He didn't say much about it and I never thought about the discussion again. About 6 months later, the arrogant rep quit working with us because he had suddenly been assigned a whole bunch of menial, "women's" tasks, like photocopying, etc., while his "expertise" was left unused. In essence they didn't give him any new clients and just allotted him busy work. Many years later my boss (by now my former boss) told me he did that to the guy on purpose after I told him about him about the abuse.

See karma does come back around...even bad karma! Love it! Sounds like he got what he deserved!

Wow, what a pig!!! I am glad to see he ended up quiting, sounds like he deserved it. I wish I could say that I have a confession to make, but I can't think of any. A lot of my friends like to tease me and call me a "goodie two shoes". I don't start trouble and I try to stay away from confrontations. Best of luck!
