I am somewhat familiar with Dells. Every computers in my school uses DELL. They are so cheap. Maybe I should buy a Dell and maybe next year or two I'll buy some other brand.

I'll come back to mylot when I get my laptop. Bye.

I have seen them priced from over $1200 down to $400-600. A lot of it depends on what you want on it. Some have faster processors and more memory. Others have other things like wireless. About three years ago we bought my husband's daughter one and at that time it was $1200. Now they are coming down in price. A lot of the price depends on what programs you want as well as memory and speed. Sam's will be selling Dell laptops very soon. You can also get good deals on refurbished ones, too. Check with computer repair places as well as electonic stores and other retailers.

Laptops are getting cheaper every few months because of competition. Even the most durable ones you can get for a few hundred dollars, especially if you shop online ($400-900). The best ones are HP, Compaq and Toshiba.
Try shopping online, it's much cheaper there ;) Hope this helps.
