Now I've been told that my photos here are great shots etc. Some even told me I shou;ld be selling them somewhere. Anyhow I went out to take some shots of my Asiatic Lilies for an update in one of my discussions. I did that then proceeded to take shots of other plants/flowers/trees etc for maybe a discussion. And lo and behold did I ever get a great shot I feel for a discussion. I have a few Rasberry Bushes planted. These are the never ending blooming variety. That means that once that start to bloom I get Rasberries from June till about October or the first frost. Anyhow they are starting to form into berries now. As I snapped a few shots I finally caught one of the tiny bees I see around pollinating one and this is the rresult of that photo. I thinks it's a great shot. Anyhow enjot. I'll be enjoying berries in a couple weeks I think too. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Bob, once again you amaze me with your talents. The best I can say is WOW!!! I'm not sure if mylot would let me save it to my computer or not. I'd really like to blow it up a little and hang it in my bedroom. It's the EXACT kind of shots that I love!! (Of course, I'd only do it with your permission!) :) Thank again for sharing your talents.

Lucky you to be enjoying raspberries that you planted, Grandpa Bob. Like I had said in an earlier discussion, the ones I buy never grow. The 2 I had just bought bout a month ago haven't done anything. They look like I just took 2 sticks and stuck em in the ground. No leaf bud or anything.

Cool shot! I have a cheaper camera and I can not do close ups with it. I got it mostly to photograph my girlscouts at various events and it does great for that. I can't wait to see the lily photos though I hope you have some new one's.

8 So far - There has to be 100 more buds that should all be opened in a week. The Lily doesn't last long though. So I am hoping to get a ton at one time. HAHAHA!!
Hmmm Lilies you say. I just happen to have a photo taken today of a group of 8 that are opened. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

They are VERY invasive. Meaning they sprout out all over the place from their roots. I've had more sprout out 5 feet from the bushes. HAHA. tasty little berries they are. HAPPY PSOTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

That is a great picture!! What do you do with all those berries that you grow? Are you able to freeze them and use them later on for baking? I bet they would be wonderful poured into a muffin mix.

We don't get that many. I started with a few cuttings 2 years ago. I then gave my daughter a lot of the off shoot growths. Now I've about 8 more off shoots growing. I'll have a few berries but not a lot. I don't do the canning, freezing, or saving of them. I eat them as I walk past the berries. Hahaha! Maybe in a few years I'll have enough to store and freeze or even make some jam or jelly. Thanks and have a great day/evening. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Grandpa Bob, you're really making me yearn for my own garden. But here in high rise singapore, landed property is scarce and horribly expensive. so i shall just have to content myself with the common park areas and trees nearby. The public housing surroundings are quite nicely landscaped, but guess there's nothing quite like having your own garden and own blooms. Something special about watching those little heads pushing out from the ground. Bulbs and seeds and the like. the closest my mum got was with planting chilli seeds in a pot outside our home, and those grew to produce chilli pods!

Bee? Wasp? - This was taken on a leaf of my rasberry Bush. No idea what type of bee or wasp it is. Anyone know at all?
Thank you very much for the compliments. I love sharing my garden, flowers etc with friends and the general community here. Oh I share them berries with my daughter, grandsons, and neighbors. Here's a shot of some flying bug on the leaf of the same berry bush. It also appears to be some type of bee or wasp. I am not sure about this though. If anyone knows what this insect is please let me know here? Thanks. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~
