I've been critiquing a lot of photography lately so I thought I would post a few of my own for critique.
This is a head shot I took for a theater student applying for a role in a local play. I used a Nikon D70s with a 18-35mm lens, with a hot-shoe flash bounced off the wall to the left for lighting.
Any opinions are welcomed. Also, if you know anything about what theaters are looking for when they receive head shots I'd love to know. Black and white? Color? glossy or matt paper?

I dont potray myself as a photography genious , but from the picture you have taken i would like to suggest two things :
1. equilibrium : when ever you take picture try to make the people or the monument to be the center of the picture leaving equal spaces in both side.
2. borders : try to shoot at a place getting a natural border to your picture.
