Yeah, I do think our ancestors were more happy than us as they had less stress; worries. Their life was much simpler and easier than us. The medical word 'depression'; 'obesity'; 'cancer' and so on can only be found in the modern life, which reflect their life were happier than us.

In many ways yes. But they didn't have electricity so I figure we are happier in the sense of have things to make us comfortable, but at the same time all these things have shifted most people's focus from family, friends, and general happiness, to money, status, and collection of material things which are not things that can deliver true happiness. So over all yeah, our ancestors were probably happier. Also I guess you can't want what you've never seen or heard of, so I guess they wouldn't miss technology.

Well, I am not really sure about this one. Maybe they were, I wouldn't really know. All I know is that I am happy and that is all.
