My father-in-law has an identical twin which has caused some confusion and embarrassment for some people in my family. Their names even rhyme, they both work in construction, and now they are opening their own business together.
I find it very funny since I can tell them apart pretty easily now. One day my dad ran into the brother on a job site and thought it was my father-in-law. The brother corrected him and told him "It happens every day".
Often when people see my father-in-law they tell him "wow, your hair has gotten long, and you've lost weight" because they know his brother and don't realize he has a twin. Usually my father-in-law won't correct people and just tell his brother about it later.
Have you had any funny or embarrassing situations with twins? Do you have a twin sibling and experience these problems?

I am sure it happens all of the time. Back when I was in College many yrs. ago some of Best friends were Triplets. And they were identical to begin with so at first I had problems telling them apart, but they used to get mixed up all of the time, and could fool so many people and enjoyed being able to do so. I can remember them going into each others classes and acting as the other person, etc. I always thought after I got to know them, it would have been Fun to be an identical Twin and fool people sometimes.
