No, never ever. First of all, I'll make sure that it will not happen to me. but 1 to trillion shot if it happens, I will do something rational to earn food for my children. In fact, I have done several things to protect my family from such a disaster.

If I (HAD) to, to survive, yes, but with all the many, many places to eat a free meal now days, there isn't any reason to steal! In my town alone, just about every church serves free hot meals everyday, not to mention the missions, schools, welfare, foodstamps, food banks and shelters! In America, a person can actually live completely free, without cash! The homeless do it every day! There is constant free hot meals, shelters, free clothing, free medical, free dental, on section 8, free homes, apartments, rooms, halfway houses, sleeping rooms, hotels, and motels, there are free blankets, coats, shoes, gloves, and even free transportation and free bus passes! There are even many places where you can go and get a free hot shower as well as free soap, towells, toothpaste, shampoo, robes, slippers, hair brushes, combs, washclothes, lotions and deodorants! All this is there just for the asking! How do I know about all of it? I was once one of the homeless! It is all out there, so don't let someone tell you they can't get help and are hungry, that's BS! Trust me, the homeless KNOWS where to find ANYTHING they want!

let me tell u a short story, an incident rather. once i was going with my brother to my aunt's house. we got-off the bus & got a pedal rickshaw. the guy pulling the rickshaw was looking absolutely normal with a shirt, trouser & a cloth overlapping his both shoulders. after a while that cloth waved -off due to the wind & to our amazment we found out that the guy was a handicap. his right hand was gone but still he was working hard instead of begging or stealing.
now, who wants to steal in any case??

If my kids were starving and I had no other way to get food you better bed I would be stealing some bread and peanut butter to feed them. But I would hope I would have family and friends to help me before it got that bad because once you get to that point you know there is almost no way out and you are stuck stealing every meal.

no, i would not steal anything, just to have money for food. I will just get a job, and use the money that i have worked for food.

I would never steal if I have no money. maybe I will borrow some from my friends which I will return to them or else do any job even that of a waitress and earn some money to eat with my dignity intact

I would for my children if all other means have failed! I would do anything to take care of them! If it means I would have to resort to stealing then yes in a heartbeat! I would of course try other methods like borrowing, going to churches or the local Dept of Human Services and try to get food stamps!

I would not steal. There are places to go to get help with a meal. No need to steal. If you can't find anywhere to geta meal then talk to a neighbor, family member or friend. Someone is bound to help you.

I'd ask for food rather than steal. Stealing or be in a other trouble is something we should (i think)all avoid. Having a police record of stealing is something people will think about. It will degrade ur morale. HOnesty is still the best policy.

I sure would. It's survival of the fittest (only the strong survive) To feed either me or my sons I sure would steal & have no regret at all!
