And what do you think about people who are vegetarians or vegans? Do you accept that? I say that because I am vegetarian (I eat only fish from all kinds of meat) and my family and my friends can't accept me like in this way? So, please share with me.

I am not vegetarian, though I have several friends who are. In fact, at my upcoming wedding we are having both vegetarian and meat laden dishes. However, these vegetarians are very low key. They are not pushy, but simply don't eat meat. In fact they don't do fish as well....

I am a non-veg.. Though I eat mostly vegetarian food, but whenever I get the oppurtunity, I have lots of non-veg also.. I like non-veg more than veg.. I have had many non-veg items till now, but not all.. Some items make me sick like the sight of lobsters or crabs... Yukk...

do you know why your family does not accept it because it is not normal for human beings (homosapiens) to only eat veggies and fishmeat.yes you can get protein from other source but your muscles needs a more potent energy booster to function well.understand that the body is a chain of muscles, organs and cells that it cannot function well without the other and if one part has a less amount of nutrients then body, mind and spirit will fall short on your expectation. You have studied biology and the animal kingdom, do you think carnivores could live by just eating leaves and grass? do you think that a hummingbird could feed only on sugarcanes instead of nectares? of course not because god made it so! you have studied the chain of life and each species is dependent on its survival.remember ,we only kill animals for food and not for the joy of it.and it is meant to be.the only thing we are not allowed to eat is ourselves only unless in extreme case of survival.

Maybe you aren't accepted as a vegetarian because you still eat flesh. You can't be a vegetarian unless you give up the fish.

Yes I am a vegetarian and i have been for quite sometime. Since me and my family are vegetarians we are happy about it as it is good for our health and beside we are animal lovers. I think even celebs are becoming vegetarians so it is nice thing to do. One can eat well balanced diet without non veg too.

I think, eating any type of animal protin except milk and its derivatives can never be called as vegetarian. Because vegetarians only consume vegetables or plant products in their food and milk. So, if you eat fish, how can your family and friends can accept you as a vegetarian? You see, I am not a vegetarian. But I always prefer vegetarian food and take non-vegetarian food once or twice in a week as per my choice! Claim has nothing to do with habits, since habits are real and those form the nature for men! Thus our food habits form us as vegetarian or not. Thanks.

Me personaly I don't think about vegetarians, not to be rude but if it's not humans they are eating, why should I care? I eat a low carb diet, a few of my family members are always complaining about it. I don't get it, I am not trying to get them to eat low carb. I think many people just have to be judgmental about something, I am not saying I am without guilt of this, but I draw the line at other's eating habbits. If it's not good for their bodies, their bodies will let them know.
