Do you like to go shopping alone?

Hello,happymom,i am not married yet so i cannot go shopping with my husband,most of the time ,i will go shopping with my friends,i like to talk with them when i am shopping,but it does not mean i do not like shopping alone,I can still enjoy window shopping by myself at times. I can understand that it may be a bit annoying when shopping with guys as what we are interested may make the guys bored.

If I am shopping for clothes, then yes I like to go alone. This way I can take my time and try on dozens of different outfits without feeling rushed. When my daughter lived at home, we liked going shopping together. Now that she's moved out, I go alone. If it's food shopping, sometimes I like for my husband or son to come with me so I can get some new ideas on what to buy. Sometimes I feel like I'm buying the same stuff over and over again.

My husband and son always go shopping with me. It doesn't matter what shopping we do, grocery or clothes, we do it as a family. My husband likes to go since he works long hours and it makes it easier since he is there to help plan dinners and such. We get more time together and I don't have to haul two kids into the store alone. Once in a while, though, I'd love to make a milk run without anyone. lol I am a stay at home mom, so it seems like I never get any alone time. I can't even go to the bathroom alone as someone always follows me in the bathroom. When I asked to make a trip to the store alone, though, my husband looked crushed, like I didn't want to spend time with him. Ever since I've kept my mouth shut. I love my husband and sons more than life but just once in a blue moon I'd like to be able to go to the bathroom alone, ya know? :)

i like to shopping alone if am doing the groceries. it's easier for me to choose and comapre from one product to another by being alone than going out with some one. also, i can move real fast and more efficiently by doing the groceries alone. but if i am buying something, like a dress or shoes, i usually ask a friend or two to go with me so i have someone to tell me if it's good for me or not. sometimes, i choose things that are not really good for me because of my poor judgement so bringing a friend can help me alot in this problem.

For my own shopping I like to go alone but if it is for the children then I have to take them along for the size but enjoy going with them as well.

it depends on my mood. sometimes when i feel like it, i shop alone. other times when i want some second opinion, i bring somebody along.

When I have all the time in the world and can afford the time to shop leisurely, then I like having friends with me, so that we can give one another comments about a dress or that lipstick color! However, if I have only limited time and need to buy something urgently, then I will prefer to shop alone. So that I will not have to go to shops that I do not want to visit but my friend does.

Yea, why not? Shopping alone is neater. You won't need to wait for the others who might wish to look at things you are not interested in. So when you are shopping alone, you can free run of the place, so to speak. Your time is your own to manage.

It depends.I go shopping alone when I'm in bad mood.Thus I can walk a long way, watch many things, and buy some.But most time I like to go shopping with my friends.They can give me some ideas about clothes or other things, and we can talk each other happily.

I much prefer to shop alone if it's for something I want, but will shop with my wife, if it is something we both want - but that always seems to take much longer - LOL. I tend to know what I want and then like to go into a store, get it and come home. My wife tells me that I'm terrible to shop with and prefers that I'm not with her. This is OK with me :-)

I enjoy the freedom of shopping alone, you stop and shop at your own pace and that's really nice. But the thing is I can't be given too much freedom, otherwise I would buy on impulse and completely lose it. Now I prefer to have a shopping buddy who could distract me a little and ask me questions like "do you really need that?" or "hm, I think you look good in this, but I don't think there is many occasions you can wear this." That would save me from wasting money and that would prevent me from buying everything I want in the store.

I do window shopping alone sometimes..But I would prefer to be with my girlfriends to make it more fun. At least if you're with them, you can consult someone with your shopping thing and it's fun because you're bonding with your friends! . ;)

I love to shop alone. 1) You don't have to worry about the welfare of the person going with you...whether they're hungry or tired or whether they like to go into the store you want to. 2) You can go as fast or as slow as you want. 3) If you don't have a job, you can spend you shopping allowance any way you want without feeling too guilty. 4) You can fit on clothes as many times as you want. 5) You can fit into those sale racks stacked so close together without worrying about where to put the stroller or your kids. But of course, when I shop alone, my kids are also at the back of my mind especially since they're so young. Maybe shopping will be more worry-free when they get older.

normally, i shop with my friends, brothers, mom and my dad. but i do love shopping alone coz there r less limit on ur shopping time which means more time choosing ur favorites, finding the best deals with freebies, window shop, and of course fit almost any clothes u liked to know the right one for ya!

i usually like to go shopping with someone because i can ask for their opinion when i want to buy something... also it is not that boring if you have somebody with you as you can somebody to chat with...

Oh yes I really like to shop alone. I can think better and Im not distracted from others. If I bring my husband he will rush me through the stores and I always forget to get something.

sometimes i like to. In this situation i can loiter around or can buy whatever i want without intervention of anyone. I really like this once in a while.

Well, I don't like to go shopping alone. I want someone to go with me, at better my good girlfriends. For we can give each other reference advices. And we can get shopping fruits better. Besides, I don't like the feeling of alone.

I love shopping alone! It makes me chose the one that I really like...my husband loves to shop too but being with me makes my patient goes to...so I would prefer to shop alone! because men doesn't want to go from boutique to boutique..especially if the things that they are shopping were not theirs!
