Yup, I see lots of foreigners marrying Filipina women. I see them here in our city, walking hand in hand....a Caucasian man, and a short Filipino woman. I'm not really sure, but it could be that they are mail order brides, or they met in the internet, or introduced by friends. Those foreigners like to come to the Philippines in order to retire and settle down. The easiest of course is to get a Filipina wife in order for them to be more secure and can own real properties. The Philippines too is relatively cheap in terms of standard of living, that is why it is one best option for foreigners to retire and settle down. I don't know, but I can't imagine myself marrying a foreigner. Or even my eldest daughter. I would rather have a Filipino husband for her....but of course, that is my personal preference, which may differ from other people's.

my sister is married to a japanese, they met when my sister went there to teach english... and my brother in law told us that first filipina smells good (we really take a bath twice or more a day), we take good care of our husband and we are a good homemaker. clean house good meals. so i think maybe thats the reason because it came from the mouth of someone who married a filipina

There are many stories to tell why foreigners like Filipina women. I have a sister who was once married to a foreigner but their marriage did not last long. Once, I asked the husband what he liked about my sister and he simply answered 'it's because she is beautiful and thoughtful.' it was more of the physical traits that he was looking for. Others find Filipina women as open and better all around females. Foreigners are attracted to Filipina girls because according to them 'Filipina women love them in return and doesn't have to be that complicated. Their silky hair and slinky curves make them superior than white hamburger eaters and their natural fragrance is perfume as opposed to anchovies.They are physically smaller (most foreigners like petite girls) and more succulent. But mostly they find our women's adoring attitude far more attracive than the underlying feminist attitude of 'we are just the same as you are.' Lastly, romance is so sexy and Filipinas live for it.' Perhaps that's just a cultural trait but a Filpina wife sees caring for her husband and family as her primary role. This contrasts so many women from the West to be only concerned with themselves.

I don't know at all. I don't know any Filipina women at all so I really wouldn't give an answer. Maybe it's attraction whether it's physical or something. It depends on the person.
