Have you heard of "cat person"?

she's so cute - Isn't she so cute? I always think cats are very gentle and delicate.

In American movies, I find there's a phrase probably called "cat person".It means if you are all alone, you may end up staying with lots of cats when you are old? Is it true? Why not end up with with lots of dogs? I'm curious. This is kind of cultural shock.

No, "cat person" is a person whose empathy is with cats, more than the classic house full of cats type, or "cat lady". "Dog person", same, for dogs. Anyway, which would you prefer, being in a place full of cats, or geriatrics? Just for the record, a lot of people start with a place full of dogs, or cats, and just keep it that way.

Thanks a lot. In China, when we get old, we often live with our children. Only a few people go to the old people's home.
