Who out there who watches the news, actualy go away feeling sick to the gut. I do. There is no stories of goodness, of charities, of people getting over their sickness. It is alll doom and gloom, train wrecks, kinapping, death toll on the roads. It seems never ending , Cant one day of the week go by where nothing bad happpens and they are at lost what to put on the news, so they are forced to put good stuff on . Does anybody like watching the news, or are most people like me and hate it?

I haven't been watching much of the news lately for that reason it's depressing... Theres alot more bad things that happens daily, which isn't even reported on the news... It's very rare to see any good happy stories and they are usually very short in length of reporting too...

Yeah i watch news on TV and read about it newspapers & internet as i like to keep myself aware of current news and affairs be it locally, national and international news. I feel good work doesn't become news. Like bad news be it rape, murder, kdinappings, terrroist strikes, wars.. I feel it is the responsibility of media to highlight positive things and good work done by people. Stories of love, compassion, caring, humanity.

I think that it would be worse if the 'good' news was newsworthy because that would mean that the bad would overwhelm the good.

yes the news is very depressing.
Ive noticed though .. they say "three men killed in a car accident" and after that they say something good like "City kids win large award" Its like they try and make us forget it.

Well I don't watch it or read it unless it is something that interests me, then I will read it for more info. but yes, there is too much doom and gloom in the papers. You really don't know what to believe or not and I for one, just won't read it.
