Too many ADS on TV!!!!

I am sure that many of you have thought about this in some moment. You're watching TV after dinner, relaxed and trying to chill for a while before heading to bed. There's a prime time series starting, so you decide to watch it. So it starts, and after 2 minutes, commercials. Oh well, you think, and you wait patiently for the ads to finish. Series returns, but only 10 or 15 minutes later you get a banner that says: ads, we're back in only 50 seconds. Back to the series and when you're by the half of the episode, you get a long set of commercials again. By that time i get pissed off, i stand up and go to bed. That's why i have decided to record all the series i like and watch them afterwards or the day after. I cannot stand the amount of ads that channels put, specially on prime time series.
Don't you think it's an abuse that they put so many commercials on tv?

I do enjoy watching commercials and I so does my children so I don't mind . I also consider them advantageous because the more commercials they have, it means that they have more money to produce good TV shows that the public could enjoy. It could also get people more informed in the products that they are using. In short, people will know that they have more choices and its the consumers who will get to benefit in the end. For me, it is also an indicator of thriving & good business and booming economy. It means that a lot of business are coming in and that they want to attract more people to buy their products because they also believe that the people has the purchasing power. I don't mind at all.

i dont think such thigns can be abuse. cause theyre trying to get their names etc out. to see if people are interested. sure it can be annoying, but commercial "sells". i really think its annoying.. i hate commercials with the "HEY BOYS.. WANNA CHAT.. THEN CALL BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!?" gosh how desperate do you have to be to even do that!?

It is true that the commercials on television can get iritating ! As you said, sometimes we might be watching an interesting programme but we get interrupted with all these commercials every 5 minutes !!! But then, there is another side to it..In this developing society, how can we avoid the commercials??? Most of us sit in front of the television and in order to catch our attention the commercials pop up !!! I have to say, we all depend on commercials to know about new products and other information of the different products we would prefer to use !! Now a days, the number of products/services introduced to our society are increasing day by day !!! So, it is impossible to totally blame or ignore these commercials...Well, as we all want to just enjoy a programme without getting interupted, i would also prefer to record the programs that i want to see.....
