No NO No.... I don't like Harry to die. I like Rowling to continue further. But if she wants to end I love Harry getting a higher position i.e King of Magic and just closing his character with a happy ending but not dying .

I'm also hoping Harry won't die, but I'm not basing my my hope on anything J.K. Rowling or others have said. It's purely based on what I want (or don't want) to see happen!
One of the previous posters had a good point - remember the prophesy about Harry and Voldemort. I can't see Rowling letting Voldemort live and triumph. These are originally children's books after all - how devastating would that be for young readers to have that happen?

Harry will not die bcoz if he does, it means that Voldemort will live. Don't forget the prophecy. It said that one has to die on order for the other one to live. And it will be so sad if Voldemort wins in the end, right? So i think that Harry will survive the final battle but I'm sure that he will have friends who might die for him.

No, I don't think that Rowling will kill Harry. I know people keep saying that she's going to kill him off so that no one can start writing Harry Potter after Hogwarts books, but I'm pretty sure that unless she's sold the rights to the characters -- no one can.
