i always make my own cards ,
I write poems for my family and friends , then I make my own card and print it out with the poems in ,
My friends and family always get back to me and thank me as they love the personal touch , Some keep them as they don't like to throw them away ,
I am in fact just going to make my Dad's Fathers day card when I finish this response as it is Fathers Day here in Scotland tomorrow xx

I never ever buy a card. I make all my own. As an artist, I have lots of art work to choose from, and design the cards how I like them to be.

I prefer picking one at the store. Or making one with crayon and m,arkers myself. It is cheaper than buying the paper and than using ink to print it. Just for one card. I have three kids. So we tend to make them hand made. My husband loves getting them and can't wait to read what they will write in them next.

I buy greeting cards. I do have a set of very pretty blank, flower cards that I use for some people.
Occassionally I use one of those photo cards, where you buy the outline, & put in a photo.
My daughter makes nearly all her cards. She really has become quite clever at it. They have cats & dogs on them, or Christmas objects, fancy writing, etc. Sometimes I "commission " her to make cards that I need to give people.

Before when I was no knowledge about computers I prefered making personalize greeting card specially when I have to give it to my friends and relatives. I choose this because more unique and prize less for the person who am I give it for. In this I can show them how much they are really mean for me. Through my own message and sincerly greetings.

I've given 3 types of cards over the years, eaforeman6. I've bought many cards, and have spent a lot of time searching for 'just the right one' for a particular person. I've also handmade them, with a poem I've written, and designs I've drawn on by hand, and coloured. Since we've gotten our computer, I have used a card program on there as well, but we may not have this anymore, due to a computer crash we had, and the program was lost.
