What kind of a book would you write? I guess like many other people, I've started writing several books but just never finished them...I feel like I've had several good ideas, but couldn't bring the whole idea to paper... What would you write about and why? Have you ever finished writing a book and has it been published?

I would love to write a book. I think it would have to be some sort of historic novel, but I don't know whether I have the confidence and patience to put enough work into it. I write quite a bit of poetry so I'm considering publishing that at the moment. Brightest Blessings.

When I was little, I wanted to write a science fiction book. I started a few pages but I didn't keep writing it.

writing a book has always been my dream but i'm afraid i can't realize it because it seems too difficult for me. making a living by writing is my ideal work but i find i don't have a gift for writing.

I have always wanted to write a book but I haven't come up with any good ideas, good enough for me to sit down and indulge myself in. I guess it would be really hard for me too, as I always second guess myself, I might just tear everything apart when I am on the way *laughs*. Anyway, I think writing a book takes a long of time, brain power and energy. Oh persistence too! If you have good ideas, you should really try and see if it works! These days, I would love writing for magazines somehow (maybe it's shorter!).

I wish I was able to write a book. I have extremely high standards when it comes to novels and authors, and I do not think I would measure up. I think stand up comedy would be more my way of telling a story. Too bad I am shy.

I have a couple of ideas for some books; I would love to write a book on a woman with kids who buys her own house and the obstacles she encounters on the road getting there. I also though I am not sure how this idea would go but I thought of writing a series of books about women who are not necessarily beautiful, but average, even what might call unattractive; I wanted to call it The Unpretty series and basically write stories on women who despite of that, do good things with their lives and find love and or happiness.I really feel I should do that because I see more books on women and I don't think only fine or beautiful folks will get someone. that's not true. It depends on something other than that. but those are my ideas.

I have been writing for nearly 27 years now. I wrote my first story when I was 15 and I sent into a major magazine company that handled science fiction/fantasy. I actually received a critique of my story from some well known writers in that genre but I think I was told that I was too young to be published at that time. I was a little disappointed, but this just inspired me to continue writing. The story that I am soon to finish is one based on a collection of newsletters that my father's army unit put together during the Korean Conflict. Once I finish it, I plan on getting it copyrighted and then selling through me website. I am looking for a publishing company that might be interested in such a story and help me get it published through conventional means. Once I finish this process, I am going to begin my book entitled, "My Lord, My Master." This is a fictional account of four different individuals through time and how they came to know the Lord Jesus Christ. Being born a Jew and then converting over 4 years ago is inspiring me to write this book. As I work on the previous mentioned book, I then plan on finishing a book that would be both a sci-fi and fantasy mix. I know that this has been done before, but I want to try my hand at it myself. I am also working on a children's book entitled, "Kitty Kat Detectives: In Search of the Golden Cheese." My wife and I have three cats and we love them very much and they are inspiring me to write this book. Not only do I enjoy writing, but I also enjoy reading, drawing and painting among other hobbies. With coming to know the Lord, I am aware of the fact that my life is complete. I also look forward to getting my first book published.
