Do you have air conditioning in your home? What temperature do you usually have it set on? We use to have window units in our house, but 2 summers ago we had Central Air installed. We usually have it set at 74 degrees. But I'm one of those people who always have cold feet. So I'm usually walking around the house with no shoes on but socks on my feet.

We have 2 air conditioners running and 1 big fan. 1 air conditioner in the living room and 1 in the bedroom. Plus we have the big fan going in the living room. It is so hot out today. My sister used to have central air in her old place and it cools much better than regular air conditioner's. I wish I could afford it. Hopefully soon. :)

Oh it took us a long time before we could afford central air in our house. For many years we used window units. They worked good also.

Oh I don't like the airconditioner on period. My husband has it going all day and all night and it is set at 70. When he is at work during the day I turn it off and open all the doors and windows to let fresh and warm air in LOL Just before he gets home (an hour before) I have it going to cool down the apartment for him. He does not like the heat but I do LOL Because it has been going for the past week I have a cold and tend to wake up with a sore throat and watery eyes because of the aircon (i think).

yep we do. We have two units. One up stairs and one on the main floor. The basement stays cool all by itself. Our house was built in 1921 so it has plaster walls which I think helps keep the house cool. We keep our main floor at 77 and our second floor at 75.

We have central air in our home and usually keep it somewhere between 68 and 72 degrees depending on how hot it is outside. Since I have a house full of people with asthma we try to keep the humidity out of here as much as possible. It makes it better for them and they have less problems.

We have an air condition in our place and we usually let my husband run it. Because he is always hot and I'm always cold. So, I bundle up with blankets when he's home. I think he sets it at 60 degress or something.

Thankfully we have central air. I wouldn't actually have bought my house without it. We had to use air units from time to time when I was growing up and I remember hating it.
Mine is set somewhere between 72-74 degrees I believe. My wall unit is messed up and what it's says it's set at and what the actually temperature is is about 5 degrees at least off. I need to replace the box.
I have to have it a little colder in the house right now because we live our bedroom door shut - due to the cats. I sleep in the afternoon and I can't sleep if it's warm. So I keep it a little cooler now but here in a couple of weeks I'll probably turn it up some.

We have central AC, too. During the day we have it set at about 75 degrees. We turn it up to 80 at night and run the window in the bedroom, since it is cheaper to just cool that room while we are sleeping. My BF likes it colder than I do, so he wears shorts while the AC is on, and I wear jeans most of the summer.

Central air was one of the things we made sure our house had when we were looking to buy. We set ours at severnty eight. Its not too cool but yet you don't feel the heat either. We also use fans to circulate the air around the house. From what I understand doing it this way saves a little on the electric bill.

We have 2 air conditioners in our home. One is in my bedroom, and the other one is in the livingroom. We adjust it according to the weather. However my daughter likes to keep her bedroom window open for some fresh air. I to get cold feet at times. Also I have to wear socks because my cats think they own my bed lol. They enjoy attacking my feet.

I have asthma and I have to have my air conditioners on because the heat triggers attackes. My air unit is on 69 or 70 most of the summer. I also have three units running to keep the whole house cool. I always walk around with no shoes on no matter if it is summer winter or fall. In the winter I do wear socks sometimes when I am walking around but for the most part bare feet. My feet seem to dislike shoes. Some say I am a redneck because of not wearing shoes but I say I am just a country girl at heart.

Hello daycarepal. Yes, I have AC. I couldn't imagine NOT having it! We have window units in just about every room in the house but I would love to eventually get central air. I love to stay cool and comfortable when i'm in the house and I love to sleep in the cold. I couldn't imagine not having AC and I actually feel bad for the people that don't have an escape from the heat.

We usually set it on 24 degree celsius. But we don't usually have it on because it will costs us much. We just use electric fans for almost everyday and use aircon during unbearable hot days.
