Come on and join this discussion, Id like to hear what you have to say? are you afraid? this month being Halloween and all? Im! Be sure and keep your necks covered up, a vampire may get you.+++++

Nope, not afraid of vampires :) knowing a few and all..it'd kinda suck if I was afraid of my own friends lol. Vampires aren't as bad as most legends or holywood would like u to believe. Anyway, the legends are in all countries, all societies and have been around since the beginning of time. There's no doubt that the modern image of the vampire was inspired by Vlad the Impaler, but the legends are really much, much older than that. I've only traced it back as far as Babylonia..so I don't really know where it began began..but lets suffice it say it's friggen old heh.

i think a film called DRACULA MADE ME REALIZE their origin....yeah....the story of a ruler became cruel and all...really curious bout the story at first and it really is good...

Korvinkate its hard to believe you are just finding out about vampires they have been around for years. Im glad tho you know about them now and if your curious about them then try and see some of the other stories that are outthere about vampires. They are really good and scrarey and I love them.. i am from romania,dracula's country...hehe..but i am surely not a vampire lol...the story began from a istoric person named vlad tepes..who was known for his cruelty and killing many people ,i guess he liked blood,but i don't think he actually drank it...but we have lots of stories about vampires and haunted castles and that attracts tourists so i guess it is a good thing:)

Not afraid, more like fascinated. I'm fascinated with the lore of vampires. Plus I love movies and books regarding vampires. Whether they are sappy or gory.

i am not afraid... this is going to sound odd but i always wanted to meet ar bettewr to be a vampire.. i know the legend because i live very close to transilvania... the vampires were created here... a long time ago there was a cruel ruler "Vlad Tepes" also known as Dracula... because he udes ti kill many people ..with cold blood... and he liked to watch every killing and he used to leave it's victims in a lake of blood.. this is were the story about vampires( the kids of dracula)was "born"

I absolutely love vampires, and love the author Anne Rice. Anne Rice wrote the Vampire series with Lestate, beginning with the Interview with the Vampire, the movie was okay, but the books are so wonderful. They are quite the adventure. So no I am not afraid of vampires, and love reading books that contain vampires, I find them intriguing. You will have to pick up a copy of Anne Rice's books and read them, they will leave you wanting more and more.

Quality: Vampires are intriging and I saw that movie Interview with a Vampire I thought it was a very good movie, it was believeable and I loved the Vampires that starred in it. I have not read the book by anne rice as of yet but I will check it out it sounds good. You know I love all kinds of Vampire movies and horror movies and fiction also like witches anything on the darkside..I hope this does not make me sound strange but I just love movies and stories like that. I used to be as achild. I would always make sure my kneck was covered by the blanket before I went to sleep. I am not sure where the fear came from. I out grew it in my teens.
