Do you cry when watching a movie?? well, I do, actually I am crying after watching a movie that touched me so deeply. I am trying to cure myself of this romantic disease of mine, but it seems I haven't done a good job so far. And what about you? have you ever cried watching a movie or listening to a song and so on??

I call it Kleenex Box ratings. I always ask my friends to give me Kleenex Box rating first. If rating is 9 or 10, I don’t watch it, because I know that I am going to cry...

oh kleenex box rating!!! how funny! well I suppose I am watching even movies that have a 9 or 10 on your scale providing I am strong enough to bear the emotional effect it has on me..of course there are some movies I cannot see when I am feeling too sad or I am a bit upset!! the one that made my cry tonight was a 1 or 2 on your scale because actually it was a funny movie..just it touched something inside me

i didn't ever cry watching a movie before i saw the movie,"Bagwan" ,a hindi movie. Although some hindi movies are very emotional, but none of them was as emotional as this.It really touched the core of my heart and made me cry although i tried to resist it a lot.

I used to be this tough chick who cried at nothing, but I can cry. It's not often a movie actually makes me cry but once in a while...and it's not hysterically balling or anything.. just a little choked up. The song "Good Ridance (time of your life)" by Green Day always chokes me up too. So does "Can you feel the love tonight" by Elton John/Lion King.

There are a number of movies that make me cry no matter how many times I see them. For example, at the end of Mr. Holland's Opus when they have the assembly to honor him and play his symphony for the first time. I cry every single time, and I don't bother trying to hid my tears. The movie touches me for 2 reasons. 1, I have known sign language since high school -- I had several friends who were deaf, and even babysat for a family in which every single member was deaf. 2, the teacher in school who touched me the most, who had the greatest impact on me and taught me so much about life and myself, in addition to the class that he was teaching was a music teacher. He was one of my best friends in school, he knew when something was bothering me and was the only person who could coax it out of me. The title character in that movie could have been based on that teacher.

oh I cry over a movie even though it is not the first time I am watching it if it has a special meaning for me...it is exactly how you described..it is the interaction between images, or music or events and my life that create a sort of emotional bridge...

I used to alot in my younger days but not so much anymore. I guess it is because I lived in most of those things they show in movies and it isn't that new anymore.

You know about my passion of collecting movies right?I watch many of them while I'm working just for the time pass more easy.I don't like much TV and all those commercials so I prefer watch movies from my collection than TV.Anytime I find a romantic or a film with many emotions I cry. It's not the best thing you cry and work ,but I do.Many times my son come down to see me and find me crying, after I explain to him now he knows the reason. The most of the time I fell good after these. The crying many times help you out your emotions and after I fell really good.Does these happen to you?

oh yes my friend..I am with you...sometimes crying is a good thing..it is a way to express our emotions..and I do think it is a sign we really enjoyed the movie and that they did a great work because they were able to touch us. of course let's hope to cry on a good romantic movie and not because we were scared by a horror movie..he he

I seem to have the same disease as you. We cry when when we are in some kind of emotional turmoil and the words of a song seem to bring out the intensity of what we are feeling. Really good movies that we can relate to can bring us back the pain we have felt in a similar situation. Even movies that make us love a main character and then watch him or her suffer tremendously. When I see abuse, prejudice and injustice in a movie it makes me angry too. I think we cry harder than some because we know that somewhere in the world these things are really happening to real people and we wish we could save them all. grande abbraci ;)

Yes I cry almost over every sad movie. When it is the time of the month I cry over craxy stuff like for example it could be something happy and i cry about it.LOL.I guess some people maybe are more sensitive than others .I dont cry much over songs though. But if I am sad I might.

I'm not huge on elton john... but I love the Lion King. The two don't really go together..but.. that's sweet. Elton John is a good artist. Definitely and that's cool you got to see him. Most definitely.

Yes ofcourse, when the emotions run high, all you get is the tears from your eyes, nobody can stop them and especially when someone you love the most departs or go away from you and you watch a love or a romantic movie, more tears floods from your eyes and if i here a heart touching song i definitely cry, anyways nice post buddy to express what we actually feel in our heart.

I do! OMG! Ever since I was pregnant with my first kid, anything heart warming/touching can trigger my tears! I can't stand it. Even if I don't want to, I can't help it. I cried watching "I Am Sam" recently. The night I gave birth to my son, there was "Meet joe Black" playing and I was bawling watching that too. I thought it was just a phase i was going through. But noooo... it has lasted until now. I teared up watching "300". Songs are like that too.. I tear up listening to James Morrison's "Pieces Don't Fit". That's why I rather watch movies at home alone. :)

I remember crying in "Hope Floats" when the character played by Sandra Bullock had her mom die. The whole soundstrack of that song could almost make you tear up, but that scene and when she went to her mom's closet and smelled the scent of her mom, well, my tears were flowing. I also cried in "Bed of Roses" because I idtentified with the female character and how she acted and was affected.

I usually cry when watching a movie as well, but I don't want to cure myself of this. I think it is cool, when I cry I feel that I'm alive and I still have a heart.
