Do you hesitate to respond to discussions which already have a ' Best response ' . Do you consider it a waste of time as you many not get ' Best response ' ? Do you skip the discussions with best response ? Or DO you keep responding and dont care about whether it is has a best response or not. Is there a chance of getting a best response if it is better than the best ? What do you feel ?

Hello,gpraveenkumar5,i do not mind to reply discussions which the best response has been chosen,i do not mind whether i can get it or not,if a discussion is interesting,i will reply to it,i will not skip an interesting discussion just because the best response is gone. Unfortunately, once the best response had been chosen,we cannot do it again

No, I do not. If I feel I can add something useful to the discussion...I do not bother..whether best response has already been selected...I just write down my reply...it is for the host to see and comment on my reply. Discussion should appeal to me...I start replying to it.

I just reply to everything I can to make more money and get a higher rating. I see you make the most money by replying alot. When I just typed a couple of LONG posts it did not get me much. Its better just to make some pretty good posts all over the site.

Hello gpra. I have lost count of the numbers of posts I responded with "marked best response." It doesn't matter to me. For as long as I feel I have something to contribute, then I will still respond. I have a lot of friends on my list who especially liked to award the best response within the hour. We are all working in different time zone and I hope that some posters will give the others the time and chance to pitch in. I normally wait for a month or my discussions stayed dormant before a certain period of time before resolving my discussions.

If my only reason for responding was to get best response, then I would skip it. However, I respond when I have something to say, regardless.

No I never Hesitate if a discussion has already chosen a Best response... I can still earn by adding my input and if they mark my response positive that adds to it too, so why should I not respond.

Nope. I respond to the discussions that peak my interest. With or withoput a best response doesn't matter to me. I just type away and thats that. I look to respond is all. I never expect nor strive for Best Response. If I get it then that's just icing on the cake for me. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I answer regardless of whether best response is selected or not. It doesn't bother me if my discussion is not the best one, as long as I have given some input into the discussion and hopefully would of helped the writer in some way or form.

I post regardless of whether a Best Response has been chosen or not. Best Responses aren't why I'm here at Mylot lol. I don't do the whole popularity contest thing and so Best Responses, and Star Ratings don't mean a thing to me lol. I used to check my Best Responses all the time to see if I'd been chosen as BR, but these days I don't bother. It's not as though it's a status symbol or anything. I do find it amusing how much some people set store by the number of best responses they have though - like they think they're better than others. What they don't realize is that what one person sees as BR, another person would see as utter tripe LOL.

By the time I finish reading a post, I have already decided whether I want to respond or not, so I will, regardless of the BR being selected or not. I admit I am always a little disappointed if it has been chosen, I am pretty competitive and like to match my writing skills against other's. It isn't a big deal, though. If I have something to say, I'll say it.

I never even noticed the "best response" thingy until today- I just like forums- and I love the fact that just being interested and posting can make me a little money!
