I have a small fish aquarium in my home. I love to raise goldfish in it. I always feel very happy to see them in it swimming and chasing each other. The tiny goldfish give me a lot of fun. Every day, I feed them a little fish food and stand watching them eat it. I get so much pleasure from my goldfish. Lots of fun.

Sorry to tell you that my tiny goldfish never grow as long as that. They usually grow at most two months in my fish aquarium before they go to the heaven. They feel happier there in the heaven, I guess. I always bless them if they decide to go. lol

My boyfriend has an aquarium in our home and it just sits there.. he sometimes forgets to feed his fish and it makes me so mad! What's the point of having pets if you are going to neglect and forget about them? He has an oscar and something else... I forget what. But they are cute and I enjoy watching them once in awhile. I wish he would buy a table to put the aquarium on though, it's just on the floor.

yes to have pets and not caring them is such a bad thing, he also must buy a table to keep the aquarium on in and should feed them well enough also

I still remembered on a working day few years ago one of my officemates brought a “louhan”(monk) fish to the office. She asked any one who was interested to keep the fish. It happened that nobody wanted it. So I decided to accept it as my pet. I took it back and straight bought a fish aquarium for it. Later on my hubby and I went to a nearby stream to get some water weeds, small stones and sand to be added to the aquarium. The fish took only tiny worms and didn’t like any vegetative food. We enjoyed watching it playing with the sand. It always disturbed the objects that had been well arranged in the aquarium. It was quite playful and mischievous. During that time it really brought us lots of fun and joy.

i have a 15 galloon aquarium at home and i divided it into two parts..(just put a glass divider in between) the other side I put my flowerhorn and the other side i put my goldfish and my angelfish.. my goldfish is 11 months old and my flowerhorn is 10 months old.. before i used to put them together but my 1 month flowerhorn killed the 2 months old goldfish which forced me to separate them because flowerhorns are aggressive and I couldn't bear losing another goldfish again..

Yes I have fish aquariums around the house. What are the benefits, beside being a hobby keeping a pet fish it can relieve stress especially after a hard days work. It relaxes me just by watching the fish eat their feeds or swim around the aquarium & hearing the sound of dripping water.

I used to have plenty of fish in my aquarium. I enjoyed it very much. But when I started with my work, I no longer have the time to maintain it so I gave my fishes away to a friend. I do not want them to suffer. My work entails travel and usually I would not be able to go home for 2-3 days. It is better that way that someone could take care of my fishes.

we used to have one, but no more now, its because of our helper in at home, she dont know how to clean the aquarium and she didnt bother to ask. grrrr after cleaning all the fishes were floating already.. i was so pissed off that time and also my sister.

A fish aquarium is very soothing. I have one its a 55 gallon tank. My tank has tropical fish. I get a enjoyment just by looking at them swim around. In my book fish are better than a cat or dog. No mess to clean up.
