strikingviper88 yeah they do.. to understand the reason for this.. you gotta understand how batteries work.. they work on charges stored in the form of ions.. as time progresses.. these ions dissipate and lose their charge.. hence the batteries goes dead

strikingviper88 of course it will help..... if you keep it on a soft surface, the vent gets blocked and the heat sink is not that effective.. keeping it on a hard surface helps... if you want even more colling, keep a hardbound book under your laptop and balance your...

strikingviper88 even i would prefer a laptop... a pda just does not give you the same kind of flexibility and multimedia experience that a laptop can.. the ultra portable laptop from sony vaio is a step in this direction
