sacrg793 i think it's essential to the people who started the discussions, if you get more best responses it helps to build your star rating quickly. that is what i understand the marking the best responses!

sacrg793 you can't by yourself, one of the defects of mylot is you cannot edit and delete your posts freely, so if you want to delete or edit your discussions you have to contact the admin and whic is not recommeded!
