Please, Thank you, Excuse me, Bless you...

I've always personally looked at saying "bless you" when someone sneezes as a sign of courtesy, like you would say "excuse me" if you burped or you would say "thank you" if someone did something nice for you.
It makes me crazy when someone sneezes and no one says "bless you" (I never had the "God/god" part so it's not a 'religious' thing) but it makes me even more crazy that I without a doubt always say "bless you" to anyone and everyone and no one has the courtesy enough to return the favor when I sneeze.
Is it just me?

My biggest problem is at work. I ALWAYS bless people, even if I'm on the phone or listening to music w/headphones. But no one EVER says it to me when I sneeze. It really gets me sometimes because I just can't figure out why no one can say it to me when I always say it to them!

I say it too. And even my 4 year old says it. And when she sneezes you better be ready with a "bless you" before she takes her breath back in or shes yelling "isn't anyone going to tell me bless you?" lol.

When I was a kid, I always get the "bless you" thing. NOw, When someone sneezes, i make it a point that I say "bless you". It is alright for me when no one has the courtesy to say bless you when I sneeze. As they say, it is better to give than to receive. =D
