to me they tried to destroy us for their benefit...in their industrial revolution they exported machine made goods n destroyed our artisens... so population pressure on agriculture increased...next they commersialised agriculture...n introduced the land revenve system...which brought in moneylenders n killed the pesentry right to land!!

Well, that is what every expolerer and congerer do. They try to take over a certain country and if they can't win, they try to make it their territory somehow.

All rules have its advantages and disadantages......So the British rule havve the advantages also. The main backbone of any economy is its infrastructure. The Britishers gave us a very good railway and Post and Telegraph. The arguement is that they laid the railway throughout India to carry India's natural resources to the ports and to take to their country....But after they left the country, the systems became very helpful to us. Like wise the English Education helped India a lot.
After Indian Independence the politicians, Communalists and Mafia looted India . After 60 years of Indian Independence, 50% of Indians are still in poverty.....
I dont wan o say that the British rule was fine.....and it was not that bad also
