Did your cat just have one kitten or did you find other homes for the others?

Both of our cats came from the local animal shelter. I like getting my cats from the shelter plus they have advantages. Usually, the shelter will make sure they have all their shots and will even pay for the spay or neutering. The best thing is that it is one of the "no-kill" shelters so there is no chance that the animals will be killed if no one gets them.

no-kill shelters sound like a nice idea to me, unfortunately here in Thailand people enjoy having pets but rarely spey them which means alot of unwanted babies:( One of those shelters here would be nice, I have four cats now and I'm running out of room!

They were strays, and other people (friends) collected them and gave them to me, because they knew I liked pets

I find them, people give them to when they just can't keep them any more for whatever reason. I've 2 that people found that needed more care than they could give them because they were so young. Oliver and the current one, Pearl. Oliver was a full month of care, Pearl won't need too much work after this week, she'll be 6 weeks old. I've also taken in a few from rescue groups when they realized they weren't going to adopt them out & I promised to rehome them for life without the adoption fee. I've got 4 right now that way.

He Toughgut :) The (beautiful) cat, Hunnybunny, that I have now was given to me when she was about 3 years old because the people who had her were no longer able to keep her. It took some time for her to warm up to me but now, we are as close as a cat and owner can get!

Both my cats came from a work colleague who's cat had a litter. I took two a brother and sister. They are fantasic. The male is all tabby, and the female is part tabby but mostly white. Se has the prettiest pink nose and the tabby patch on her left shoulder is heart shaped.
