No. I donot. IT is one of the dirtiest habits, because the dirt collected in the nail pots enter body in one way or the other. Instead, I have a dirty habit of peeling off the skin on lip. For decades I have done this and as a result, many people ask me whether I have a luecoderma!!

no, i don't have the habit of biting nails when in tension or excitement or in any problem. i also think that it is not healthy because when we bite the nails all the dirt which is trapped in the nails gets in to our mouth

I dont have the habit of biting nails. Actually, i cant even think of developing such a habit. Interesting part is that I even get irritated when I see other people biting their nails!!! I wont even look at them if they are doing it and if i am talking to such a person, i will tell that person right away to stop biting his/her nail. I know that is a bit rude, but what can I say, I just cant stand watching it !!!!!!

When I was so much younger, I had this habit of nailbiting but I have outgrown it. Thanks to the consistent reminder of my parents and relatives. But I've noticed that my youngest sibling still do this irritable habit specially when she's not doing anything or she's watching tv. We're a bit worried because she's nearing her 20's and she hasn't outgrown it yet.

No, never. That is for the girls, not for men. I have seen girls biting their nails only. I seldom see boys. It is more natural for girls.

No i don't have the habit of bitting nails, i would rather pull my hair when i'm in tension... luckily it hasn't come out yet....

I did long time ago but I grew out of it and istead I guess I worry or be excited without biting my nails.

ya i have and i too am fed up of ugly nails....i alwayts wish that my nails become long slender and beautifull so that i can put some nail polish to it but for me i think it will be a dream having those beauty nails and polish thing. after hearing the question i thought u might be suffering from the same problem but hey u r lucky that u r not addicted to nail bitting.good.

No I don't. I think it does not make your nails look too pretty lol. :P Personally, I think it is a bad habit.. and you might want to kick it. But then again, you said you don't have it so, good! ;)

never did i have the habit of biting my nails when i am tensed, depressed or get excited or whatever. i am still aware that my nails are some kind of dirty stuff that i do not bite them at all. for me it's not a healthy habit biting your nails.

yes i do have habiit of biting nails. I used to do them a lot when i was a kid, although it has reduced now, but i still bit my nails. Many a times when there is no nail cutter, i use my teeth to get rid of those long nails. Now it has formed as an habbit and now i dont care about it much. But yes that is considered as a bad habbit. So whenever i go outdoors and bit my nails couple of people look to me with strange look in their eyes! And later after some time i realise what was going on!

I used to have this habit when I was a kid. Don't know why, I used to bite my nails every second, for no reason what so ever. Now, I want long nails but I have to cut them every week, otherwise I can't work on the computer :(

No, thank god I don't. My ex boyfriend used to bite his nails, and I hated it! They say it's self agression, biting your nails, something to do with self esteem...
