Like most people usually i will lay in bed for at least five to ten minutes before i get up .I'm so reluctant to get away from my bed as it's the best time to sleep (6am).So how about you?

My alarm is set for 6:30 AM just so that I know it's time to get up, and then the second alarm on my phone is set for 7 AM. This helps me because the first one wakes me up and then I can lay in bed for a half-hour before I know I really have to get up. So I am in bed after I 'wake' for about half an hour just to relax before the day.

You are really well planed for your get up time with two alarm colcks... I thinks it's a good idea to prevent you from getting late to work:)

I am a, I'm awake there fore I am up kind of gal. Soon as my eyes open I am up out of bed. I don't like laying there, it just feels uncomfortable to me. Besides I am in too much of a hurry to get that first cup of coffee, YUM! LOL

I may lay in bed a few minutes, 5 or less, but I'm usually right up and out and off to do something. This morning it was out the door to try and get some photo's of the sunrise and maybe catch some deer in the back yard but none this morning :(

That's is very interesting to watch the deer hanging around your back yard.I really like that, but at my house i don't have a chance to see them because my house is quite far from the wood.

I am up 10 seconds after the alarm goes off. I love to sleep and if I don't jump up I will be back asleep for a long time. I used to set two alarms at opposite ends of the room and 5 mins apart so I would get up. These days I just jump up and head to the shower. I get up at 0600 and it is a brutal hour I wish some days I could sleep till noon...

On weekdays I'll wake up immediately because I live quite far from my school and traffic conditions are horrible in the morning. But on weekends, I can spend up to 1 hour lazing around in bed :P

I guess I go against the norm; when I wake up I get up and out of bed as soon as my eyes are open. I suffer from insomnia so I don't hit the sack until I am exhausted because I hate laying there, tossing and turning waiting to fall asleep. I guess it goes the same way when I get up - I don't want to lay there and try to fall back asleep.

Since my retirement I have no special schedule for my sleeps. Now a days I go to bed at 10.30 and wake up at 3.30. At that time I will do some work in my lot or some PT sites till 5.30. Then again after toilet I will go for another sleep till 7.30. Such an indeceplined schedule!

I agree, early morning is the best time to sleep. I usually get up within 5 minutes of waking up or I do fall back asleep and then I end up with a headache.

Depends on your age i guess... when i was in my teens i was quite happy to get up mid afternoon.. weekends anyway.. but as for work days .. yeah i think 10 to 15 minutes is about right....bottom line is work as we know it in modern society is totally alien to our instincts .. most people have to go to work far too early in the morning.....especially in the winter.. it stays dark so we can get some extra zzzzzzss.. see God ( or whoever floats your boat) had it right, then smart a$$ humans make a pigs ear of it.. as for the age thing... im quite happy now to not waste any time in bed..you just dont know how long you have left.....lol
