I like whole wheat bread and whole grain breads. They have a flavor and texture that far surpasses the boring plainness of white. I can also put butter on it while the white bread I have to put peanut butter, honey, or jam to get the right taste. I also like raisin bread. What about you?

Recipe for "Maori Bread"
400 Grams Flour
4 tsp Baking Powder
OR
3 tsp Dried Yeast
A decent pinch of Salt
Sq Water
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together twice
Add enough water to form a dough
Knead for 5 minutes and push out evenly onto a floured oven tray so that its 2 inches thick all over, this bread if done properly is nice, soft and cooked right through. Bake at 180 for 25-30 minutes
when ready to eat, cut the bread into squares while still hot, either cut open so u have 2 sides or eat uncut spread butter and golden syrup/treacle... Goodluck

I'm with you as far as whole wheat and whole grain breads. Don't like raison bread - a little too sweet I used to like Challah bread as a child - that one is very sweet. I also like rye and pumpernickel - french. Wow I just love bread! I love when restaraunts have realy yummy warm bread while you're waiting for your meal. I also love bisquits - especially those Pillsbury flaky bisquits with butter. Yummy.

I decided to buy some dark rye bread, I used to have pumpernickel when I was younger, and there was some other kind that I do not know the name of. I really loved the dark rye bread even though my husband(the white bread lover) said I would not. It has such a delicious flavor that I think I will stick with it.

My favourite is granary because I like all the bits and seeds you get, there is a bakery shop where I go each Tuesday that sells thick crusty granary bread which I always get, it is delicious and I can eat it on it's own it's so tasty! I could easily pig out on granary bread!

I prefer milk bread and fruit bread. In fruit bread, fruit comes in between eating and it is nice that way. Milk bread is tasty.

I also like whole wheat and grain breads. But my favorite for sandwiches and for breakfast in the morning (with butter) is the French baguette. I like it because it's crispy. I used to buy my bread in the morning fresh and warm when I lived in France. I loved the small bakery shops that make quality bread. We can never find that in the supermarkets. Take care suspenseful.

That sounds good. I had baguette a few times. You are right about the supermarkets, they seem to prefer the regular breads.

Oh yum; what a delicious topic! I just love bread. I love to make bread and I love to eat bread. Except I don't eat it to often as it goes straight to the hips! Will actually I am pretty sure that only goes for the white bread when I eat it. However I just love the multi grain breads such as squirely bread that says made without flour. It is made with the whole grain. The more grainy the bread is the better I seem to like it. Now I love white bread but I don't eat it but maybe once or twice a year. For instance; a hot dog just isn't as good in a brown bread. What do you think about that? Then maybe I might just have to have a homemade white bread bun hot out of the oven with a dab of butter, a dab of jam and a topper of thick cream. Oh my gosh that is just the best! I have only had it a few times in my adult years but every time I do it makes me wish I had that metabolism's that allows me to eat anything I want. Don't you wish you had a metabolism that allowed you to eat anything you wanted? Hmmm all that hot bread with your favorite topping! Yum

I like just about every kind of bread made except for Rye bread. That is the one bread that I don't really enjoy. If we are making sandwiches and that is the only bread available, I would eat it, but it is my least favorite bread. I love just about every other kind of bread.

i can enjoy different kinds of bread like wheat, rye, potato, english muffins, french and bagel. great for garlic toast are french and muffins to make a more crunchy crust when toasted. potato hotdog roll or hamburger bun are great as well as wheat bread for peanut butter, hazelnut spread or any jam we have at home.
bagel is great also when you topped it with butter, little spaghetti sauce, load of shredded cheese and ham or pepperoni then cook in microwave or oven toaster... makes a great homemade pizza!

Hazelnut spread: Do you mean Nutella? We have here in our stores. There is one thing we do with buns, we put cheese on them, not the processed cheese, but cheddar cheese with cayenne pepper, and then put them under the broiler. You have to watch it though.

I really like multi grain bread and I'm told it's good for you. In our little one horse town a loaf of that costs 3.00 so I certainly don't eat it all the time. I'm not fussy and I can eat any bread, homemade is a big hit here.

Multi grain bread is expensive even here in Winnipeg, but not as much as it would be in a smaller town. So we have to settle for whole wheat.

I like whole wheat bread, brown bread, garlic bread a lot. i like sandwiches of it. i love garlic bread toasted with some cheese as a topping served with tomato soup. my hubby also loves that a lot. i too love raisin bread with some marmelade on it. i love to have peanut butter on white bread, but i dont eat white bread a lot. it is not that good for health. wheat bread is good and healthy for health as it contains fibre in it, which is good for our stomach. and brown bread gives a much more fulfilling effect because of its fibre content in it.

I don't like white bread that much. Whole wheat tastes much better. We do get rhye bread, but it is mostly white and I would rather have real rye bread. I had a recipe, but that recipe called for half white and it was not that good.

I'm italian and I like Tuscany bread. It's the bread of this italian region and its particularity is that it is without salt. It's very good especially with salted pork meats and it's healthy because it doesn't raisen blood pressure
