Hi!Iam scared too but you've got guts and you've done it . I personally feel you've taken the toughest step and that is the loan.To bear the responsility of a loan itself is a big thing in life.you shouldn't feel nervous at all coz now the fun part starts of buying a dream house. I feel you should enjoy each and every moment of the process instead of marring your emotions with worry or nervousness. Its a change certainly but the key of the future is in your hand which is security. What more do you want from life?

I bought a flat when I was very young in the days that it was unheard of for a single female to buy a home but I just jumped in without even thinking and worked hard and paid it off and then sold it and bought something better then a few years later sold that and bought the house I have now, when I think back I don't know I wasn't scared I guess I just went through thinking if I find myself in trouble I will just sell it and say at least I tried but it all worked out for me great...

We jkust bought a house and I was scared so much, infact we both were but then we found a house we liked and took it. I know the tough part starts now when you have to repay the debt. But as long as we are okay with the house things are going to get better not worst. buying and looking at the houses and then finding a dream house is all enjoyable things. So do not feel that scared and before you actually take the loan read the agreement papers carefully especially the finer print. Goodluck for your venture.

I was incredibly scared when we bought our townhouse. I think that is a positive thing though. It shows that you understand what a big repsonsibility you are undertaking. And there's nothing like coming home from work and realizing, "Hey, I own this!".

Yes, I agree. I think it's knowing what a big responsibility it is. And, I can't wait for the feeling you are talking about. Knowing that I own my home. I can do anything I want, which is mostly plant flowers and stuff like that. Or maybe paint a room a different color!
