Ever got into a Fight?

I have only got into one fight in my life...even though i've had many "semi-fights" as a kid. But only got really into one. It was at school, and it was with one of the teacher's son LOL. He hit me first, but then i grabbed him n threw him to the floor, and when i was about to punch him repeatedly another teacher separed us. I'm not proud of what happened, but anyway it's the only time. Have you ever got into a fight? was it a serious one? What are your thoughts about it?

No i am a humble and kind person.base on experienced when i was a kid everyone wanted to bully me because i was short.they always pick on me and make fun of me and i just let them.what i do is always smile or laugh with them sometimes.because i already knew my limitations.i know when i lift my hand or foot someone's going to loose a rib.i don't know i believe i have an amazing strength manipulated by anger.usually the victim of this is my brother who always passes out with just one hit unintentionally.

well you know who really cares about you, don't worry about those who pick up on you...besides, what comes around goes around....glad that you don't believe in violence as a way to fix problems.

that is why i took advantage of that god-given talent.yes you are right i don't believe that violence is a way of fixing problems but ironically as a professional fighter for me violence is the easiest way to earn money..:).thank you.

I did get into fight ONCE when I was about 8 years old. I saw my cousin physically fighting 2 of our neighbor who were also of the same with us. I came to help her and ended up joining the fight. After that, we didn't speak about it anymore and never spoke with those girls for many years. We just became civil and in speaking terms with each other when we reached our late teens. But we never did discuss such incident ever. kids!

I haven't been in a proper fight since my school days. When i was very young (5 - 10) i used to fight all the time, at least 2 or 3 times each week. As I grew older and fights became more violent, I fought less often too. The last real fight I had was in high school. My opponent had been making sly comments and trying to get me to fight for weeks. He was generally thought to be tougher than me, so it was really bullying I suppose. I eventually snapped, and boy did I blow! In a nutshell, he had to go to hospital and he didn't come to school for a couple of weeks. I kept pretty much to myself after that and nobody bothered me. I haven't fought since leaving school because I got a good job straight away and couldn't afford to get a black-eye or anything! I thought recently about taking martial arts as I'm quite unfit generally and don;t like the thought of not being able to defend myself or my family if a situation arises.

Thanks, I thought of it mainly for fitness, but the thought crossed my mind that if someone started a fight with me, I would most likely get my butt kicked! lol The thought scared me, so I would like to have the abilities just incase the situation ever arose.

I'm glad you were able to defend yourself rhino...anyway if you take some martial arts classes, do it for yourself, to feel better with yourself, and not for defense purposes....according to martial arts gurus, that's the only way of being able to really understand martial arts.

No, I have never gotten into a fight. I went through a really weird tomboy phase when I was young and we used to talk tough about stuff like that. But at heart I was never the physical violence type (nor the tomboy type for that matter, but that is a different story). I think that all precautions should be taken to keep disagreements from ever elevating to the physical violence stage.

I am very glad that you've always been able to control your impulses and never rely on violence to solve problems. Really you should teach that to many people on this planet :)

Well I know nowadays, some girls do fight physically - something to do with the ghastly "ladette" culture here in the UK - but I can honestly say no I never have, and no I never envisage myself doing so! I think women fighting and scrapping is one of the most unattractive, unfeminine and ultimately classless things in the world! Nothing is worth lowering yourself that far for! With men I know it is different, and I guess most boys have had the odd scrap in the school playground - it's part of growing up. I don't see any need for it in adults though - violence solves nothing in my opinion.

Yeah, those female fights fighting verbally over who is fatter, or uglier, or has the worst hair....cruel and mean i tell you. Men are more direct, less twisted, and use violence more easily.... I don't see any use for it in adults either..but neither i do in kids, but unfortunately it happens in both cases.

shure I got in to many fights when I was litle. I don't know somehow the beat just was atracted to me. I was beat up several times but not hard, some "semi-fights" as you say :P:P. So I've grown up and know how to rid of dumb people who whant to fight me, I'm smarter than them :D.

I did fight alote with my brother when we were young. We were terrible. when he was 2 years old, i just waant and cut all of his long hair. But that's it. I never saw any point in fighting, even as a child. I always thought the other children that physically fight, look a bit weird. LOl. So, no, i believe i never got into a physical fight.

Well I don't think I have ever gotten into a fight as such but I have defended myself! My brothers (I am the baby of the family) taught me self defense from a very young age so I have never really had to get involved in a fight! I think that sometimes when you are pushed too far and attacked ,adrenaline takes over your body and you will fight back. This is a far cry from people who go around looking for fights - I cannot understand that attitude at all! xxx

Nope, I live my life trying to avoid trouble and so havent never even gone close to being in a fight. I have witnessed a few close ones though between others. It was just the push and shoving kind of thing until it broken off. Other that that, no. Pretty funny yourself though, picking fights with the teacher's son. GO!

when i was studying in my college days,i have this fight with the friends of my classmates....what happened is that we are all drunk and all of us are boasting who is the boss in the group....as drunk you do not know what are you talking about i also boasted that i am the boss in the group....one of the guy grabbed my shirt and asked me if i can kick him out....i don't say a single word i just closed my fists and started to punch his head and face.....and he also returned his fists to me and also i was also hurt....then my classmate settled the fight and told us that there is no boss in the group just an ordinary happy go lucky drinkers.....

I was in a few fights in high school. Nothing major, just blowing off steam. I think we were better off when fights were a little more common and no one shot up their school.

I have to admit it. Yes I have. Before I had kids I used to go out all the time with friends. The stupid thing is, it was over a guy. I was talking to him and his girlfriend got all jelous. She hit me right in the bar. Stupid move on her part. We took it outside, long story short she lost. I would not do anything like this now that I have kids.
