Whoops! I responded to a 3 month old discussion. Is this wrong?

That's the third time it happend that I posted to a discussion without taking notice that it had been discontinued for a while. Although no best response had been choosen, I feel a little bit silly to post where probably nobody will put his nose again. Did this happen to you, is it against the rules, or what do you think about? :)

There is nothing wrong with this! Some of us go into "discussions my friends started" and then go to the back of the list to the older ones or ones with not very many responses and get the discussion going again by responding to one of them. I sometimes notice a discussion of mine popping up again that I had forgotten about or that I started a long time ago. That just gives everyone another chance at it in case they missed it the first time around!

It's not agaianst any guidelines. I just had someone bring
up a discussion of mine that I started 5 months ago by
responding to it. Doesn't matter to me. It's fun to see
some really old discussions actually.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Don't feel silly at all. I bet the original poster of that discussion is thrilled to have it come to life again! I know I love when it happens to my discussions. It gives new people a chance to see the discussion and respond.
