We are in the hot summer now,the temperature is so high,it is terrible,we can not stay out for few minutes, and the sweat must come out quickly.and feel very sticky.
I always use fanner,I think it is enough, because I feel uncomfortable in the air condition room.and always feel terrible when I come out from the air condition room.
How do you feel when you in the hot summer, and which will you choose ? fanner or air condition.

I use an electrical fan most of the time in my apartment, but we use air-conditioners in the office. Frankly speaking, I prefer using air conditioner. It makes me much more comfortable and cool. It is so humid today. I don't like this weather at all.

Oh, yeah. It is Saturday today. But I still work. We don't have Saturday and Sunday. We have a different working system. We work for 10 or 15 days straight and then we have a four-day rest. I have been used to this working system. I just came back home 10 minutes ago.

Here in Houston it is too hot and humid to go without AC. We use the air conditioner and ceiling fans. Most homes have ceiling fans in every room. We only have a ceiling fan in the living room and you can really tell the difference in the other rooms. I am going to have to put a portable fan in our bed room because our ceilings upstairs are really high. It would cost too much to get ceiling fans cause they would have to have long extensions. So we will be using both ac and fans and not go outside very much.

Yeah we see them a lot. T-Mac tried to carry the team all by himself this year. Yao has not done as well as he could but he is now working with Akeem Alajawuan(sp) who used to play for the Rockets. That should help Yao. Plus the team will have a new coach next year.

It is hot in summers in northern parts of India too. In my city the temperautes are also high. But i feel to beat heat and humidity one needs cool air from trees near my balcony which is relaxing and cool. I also use ceiling fan to keep me cool. I don't use AC as it consumes lot of power and it takes time to adjust to outisde environment. I also drink plenty of fluids to beat the heat.

Hi, banta78.
Cool air from trees near balcony?
There're also trees near my balcony which can make me cooler. That's really great!
Yeah, air condition consumes more electricity and we need to adjust it to the temperature outdoor.
Both taking a shower and drinking plenty of water can make us feel better in hot summer.
Thank you for sharing.
Have a nice day! :)

In the hot summer, I always use both fan and aircondition.
Using the aircondition at low power stand wih the fan get the room atmosphere more comfortable than use only one of them.
another benefit from using both fan and aircodition is saving power because aircondition in this case will work short time, compared without fan.

We have an air conditioner and when it gets very hot, we put it on. We used to have a fan before that and we were constantly bumping into it (small house) or making sure there were no papers around to fly away.
We did get our attic insulated which helped because it gets up to 90 degrees F here in Winnipeg some days (usually in August) and my city in Canada is near Lake Winnipeg, we also have high humidity. I would chose an air conditioner.

I wish I could afford air conditioning, but alas, it is not in the budget. We use fans. We have a house fan that makes things tolerable most of the time, unfortunately it does nothing for the humidity.
I tend to take cool showers to help cope when it gets real hot and humid.

I live in the state of Illinois and we have very hot summers. You have to have central air conditioning in the summer. I actually also have ceiling fans in every room. It really helps keep me cool.

First of all same pinch tracy!!
I have the same habbit..!But I do feel terrific in AC but after coming out of AC room this "terrific" feeling changes to "terrible"..!! :P
And because of this terrible feel I get scared of going into that AC room again. Better get used to the fan.As you cannot get AC every where but fan is available every where...!!
Its almost 45 dgree celsius ( and 50 also) here but I still feel alright under fan its OK to me.
But I'll never deny the AC too..:P
After in this summer heat like hell who will hate to get into an AC room??

We usually use air conditioning in the summer. We have central air and that's so much better than regular air conditioning in my opinion. However, the air gets turned off at a certain time, and it can get rather hot in here, so I sometimes use a fan to help circulate the air whenever it starts getting too warm for me. I have a horrible time sleeping if the room isn't cool enough, so a fan definitely helps a lot.

I use fans because it is more economical and used to it. I do feel the same as you describe using air-con.

I need air condition of course rather than fan. But i can remember when i was in texas, it is so much hot over their and specially when i was in uppper floor, eve I had the air conditioner all time, it just was unable to cool the room sometime when the fan was an additional cooler for me....oh so much hot...
