One of my dogs has motion sickness. I am leaving tomorrow and I have already big headache. I have pills from vet office, but I am wondering if you have any natural product or ideas to help my pet.

Hello Polachicago, I have 5 Pomeranians, 2 of them get sick in the car. I took them to the vet and he said to give them Dramamine, the same thing humans take, over the counter. I also give calming treats 1 hour before travel. Unfortunatly Dramamine is not all natural, but the calming treats are. I purchased my calming treats from Fosters and Smith 1-800-526-7169 call for questions or to order. Or goto their website at www.DrsFosterSmith.com. Peace, Totty

You have to make short trips with your dogs every day. This is the only way to make your pet accepting travel.

My dog cant eat before a long trip....she will get sick...she has always been like that...and you cant give her too much water either...she loves riding in the car...long distances are so tough for her....I always try to stop alot and let her walk....

I think in this perhaps eating grass (by your pet) might help him.

I am afraid, that the only solution for you is to have a lot of paper towels with you and medications for your dog.
