Why Do So Many Pregnant Women Go Missing Only To Turn Up Murdered?

It's a scary statistic, but more pregnant women die from murder than complications from pregnancy in this country. Just this past week, yet another pregnant mother is taken from her home leaving her two year old baby wandering the house for over a day looking for his mommy. Thankfully, he wasn't hurt, but he saw his mommy being taken out of the house wrapped up in a blanket. He kept saying over and over again "mommy in the rug". My heart breaks for this little boy and I fear the worst. Why do things like this happen to pregnant women? It's just so unbearable.

Yeah I have noticed that and it's really scary to think about it.I just heard the news the other day about they found a prengant woman I think she was almost close to her due date and she has got one child and they arrested her boyfriend is theis the same one?

I know, I saw this story and it is awful! That poor little boy! And the family must be frantic. I don't understand why people do such things to someone who is pregnant. I can't believe or even understand how you think you can get away with something like this. I hope that the woman is found ok, but it does not sound very good at all.

Wow, I did realize that statistic, you are right it is scary. What was your source on that? DId the source include the stats on the perpetrators of the crimes? Was it the baby's father, strangers or what?
That poor 2 year old. I hope his memory will fade, but you kow somehow he wil end up thinking it was his fault and he should have done something.

I was just going to do a discussion question on this. You beat me to it.
Personally, I think this is a cult thing. And, that men who are about to have more offspring are not willing to support them.
There are cults who do most of these killings. Just look it up and you will find lots of information regarding these horrific practices.
I do not yet have 500 posts to add my links easily, so maybe it would be better for you to look this up on your own...sorry!!

it entirely depends on the matter and situation wheather to believe or not ! if u r in real trouble then why to go in the trouble and bring the trouble towards u... sorry if u hurt.. first let's not invite the problems and there by the problems will eradicate to maximum extent....

I've read this article in a teen magazine about a preggy girl who got killed too because the father was scared to be jailed because the girl was still young so he made a plan of you know..I don't want to continue anymore because it's sensitive and such a breaking heart story. Anyway, about your story? That's very sad. There's a lot of different reasons and mostly are those with the who's the father related.

Yes it is scary indeed. I have no idea why this is happening. I think our world is turning so sad lately. There is too much killing going on. It can really make you depressed. Thats why I dont watch the news anymore.

I just dont know why such a thing can happen, In my view i think the husbands to those pregnant women are responsible for instance if they dont want to look after the child and the woman doesn't want to abot. The only way to get rid of both is murder. Its really a bad practice but husbands should provide more security for their wives.

I'm not sure why but it is so true. When i'm pregnant my husband will not even allow me out of the house unless i'm with someone else. There are some crazy sick people out there. That is so sad about the little boy. My husband heard once on the news that a girl was on a pregnancy website and one of the girls on the website seen that she was selling puppies so she planned a meeting. This woman cut the baby out of this woman's stomach and tried to claim it as her own. She left the woman there to die. It is really scary.

Awww that is really sad and disturbing and I can only imagine what that baby boy must have seen and what he went through. Wow, I am so glad he was not hurt, but ugh that poor Mom and that unborn baby. What a nightmare for sure. It is so horrible to hear these stories and I can't believe there are sick people that live in this country that could actually do those things to innocent people. Really sickening!
My prayers are with the family and my thoughts.
