What do you usually eat for breakfast?When do you have it?

It is said that breakfast is the most important meal during one day because it provides energy you need for one day.But most of us either dont have enough time or dont realize how important it is.Scientists said standard breakfast should include bread,milk,vegetable and fruit.For me it seems too luxurious,I just eat one or two things about of them.How about you?And when do you have breakfast?

The first thing I want when I get up in the morning, or late morning, is two cups of tea. I have that before I have anything. It is usually around 11am before I have breakfast. In most cases it is a bowl with some All Bran Buds and one of a number of different cereals I like. However, I am currently on the Slimfast diet and am having a Strawberry Shake for breakfast instead.
I know we need to eat breakfast to give us energy to get us through the day, however I find that the longer I wait to eat, the longer I can go without food. But, as soon as I have something to eat I can't seem to stop eating. I am always hungry. So I am liking this Slimfast plan. It works for me... for now anyway.

Do you think it is good to drink tea with empty stomach?I am not sure about the idea.It seems better to drink a cup of pure water in the morning cause it take away the wastes from your body.Strawberry shake for breakfast?For me it is a little bit weird:-)

Oh I'm well aware that breakfast is the "most important meal of the day" but the fact for me is if i TRY to eat just after waking up I end up tossing it back up again....There are times however when I do wake up hungry but those are far and few between

I usually eat breakfast fairly soon after I wake up. I usually eat eggs and toast, cereal, or yougurt. It just depends on the day.

You are right because the time period gap between dinner and break fast is more than any other meal which people have in a day thats why it is break fast. You are almost like fasting but many people don't eat anything, either they are late riser or starters and run to work without having breakfast. In winter I have bread, tea, egg fried but full and sometimes chicken spread on bread and tea. In summer I have light breakfast of butter or jam on bread toasts. I guess it fulfils my early day's starting requirements.

I eat breakfast around 6 a.m. during the week, and later (depending on when I get up) on the weekends. Normally, I will either have waffles, oatmeal, or cold cereal. I usually manage to get a grain and milk in my meal, but it's hard to include a fruit and a vegetable with breakfast. I get plenty of those at lunch, though, so I think I'll be okay. :)

I have to admit that when I don't work, I don't always eat breakfast. But when I go to work, I kinda eat 2 breakfast. I will eat a banana or a yaourt when I will arrive at my job and at my break, I will eat 2 peanut butter toasts :)

i always forget to have breakfast,because i often oversleep.
but now ,i have time to take ,however ,i don't want to have ,i am so fat that i have to lost weight ,and i don't want to have it .i don';t why, when i get up every mornig ,i find i have no apetite,and don't want to take anything.

Hi monicazhang. In my breakfast, I usually eat breads at least three to four pieces with cream cheese fillings. Sometimes, I used to eat rice with fried eggs or cereal corn flakes in the morning. Of course, my breakfast will be incomplete without drinking a cup of hot chocolate or tea.

Nah.. the most important meal is the lunch, I think =P
I almost don't have breakfast, since I sleep too much -_-
But when I have it, I like to eat sandwiche and cereal.

First and foremost, I need a big cup of coffee to start my day. Without it, I'm like a zombie!lol! Before, I don't give too much importance on what I should have for breakfast because the usual for me was a cup of coffee and a piece of bread, then I'm off. But because I want to make sure that my son eats a healthy breakfast, I started eating with him. Kind of setting by example. So, whatever he eats, I eat too. But the first time I had a full breakfast meal, I felt nauseous. I wasn't used to that kind of breakfast. But eventually, my stomach got used to it.
With regards to including all the food groups, some days I can follow with that. But there are days, that it's mostly milk and bread.
