Rides shut down after girls feet severed.

That is so sad. It gave me chills just reading the article. I can't stand for people to be having fun, and probably been waiting and planning on going, then have such a tradgedy happen. That poor little girl. I'll be praying too.

Hi Lifez2short. Thanks for sharing. How completely tragic for that child. Hopefully the park will give her a settlement to at least help with medical bills and such. I agree, I could't imagine something like this happening to me or anyone else I know. I will keep this child and her family in my prayers and hopefully she makes a fast recovery. I can't believe this either- I didn't read if they were able to put her feet back on- How incredibly sad! We went to an amusement park yesterday- I read about this on Friday- I made sure we didn't ride the ride like this one- I have heard alot of bad things about this kind- NY State Fair had a problem last year with this type of ride- All I can say is 6 flags was already in financial trouble- they had to sell the one near me- I'm glad- Its still in operation but not as a 6 flags- I bet this lawsuit won't help! I will pray for this family as well!

OMGOSH! That is so so terrible. Imagine going out for a day of fun and ending up in the hospital with both your feet missing! My BF was just saying yesterday how he wants to go to The Great Escape Amusement park this summer for the new water ride they have their. I will probably go but I do not know about going on any rides. Maybe I will just go on slow rides and ones the attractions that I can walk in like the fun house. The things that have been happening at amusement parks lately are just too scary for me.
