most haunted - you either love it or cant stand it!!!

Hiya Loopy, I must admit I'm a big fan of the show, have you been watching the Midsummers Murders one that started a couple of weeks ago? The Pendle Hill vigil was excellent and must admit I prefer the live ones to the pre-recorded versions. I thought the Edinbugh Vaults they did last year was pretty spectacular especially as there were lots getting hurt (don't get me wrong, I don't enjoy seeing them hurt) but it does bring a hint of realism to the show as I don't think they would slash themselves for nothing. I did prefer Derek Acorah, he is definately more of a 'showman' than David, and I suppose because of that people thought of him as a bit 'unreal' but I do like David Wells, although I don't think he's as accurate as Derek, especially when it comes to discovering names and dates.

I adore watching Most Haunted! The only problem I seem to have, is finding it on the tv listings each week, as they seem to switch it around now and then. Presently, it's on Friday nights on WNetwork in my region at 10pm. I think my favourite episode so far, was one of the 2 parter of them on the Queen Mary when they did a few shows in the U.S. There was the part where they found the salt water footprints from the empty swimming pool... that was AMAZING! I never did like Derek Acorah at first, but he grew on me over time. I agree, David Wells is MUCH more realistic, and I like how he seems more emotionally present. One of the more shocking things I found out with the show after watching it for a few years, is that Karl and Yvonne are actually husband and wife. Not that it matters really. But I crushed on Karl a bit, and knowing now that he's married, it just seems so wrong! lol! I used to crush on Phil too, and was rather upset when Keiran took over the role. And where has Richard gone? Now that I think of it.. I haven't seen him on the show this season yet. Hmmmm????

I love Most Haunted and watch all the repeats, but i do miss derek not doing the show anymore. I liked the live show they did last year where the crew kept cutting cuts, cant remember now where it was.

Yep, I love Most Haunted. It's a really awesome show. I love all those kind of shows. When I'm not home I record them to watch later. I think the minor characters on Most Haunted are really great. You can really emphasize with them. I know if I was in a situation like that I'd be scared too.
