I believe we don't get any money for responses to our discussions

You only get paid once and for the first response that your post gets. After the first response, it is just another post. That is why it doesn't matter if you get 1,5, or 100 responses, you will still only get paid for the first response. Of course some posts/topics on here are good to keep around and to keep communication flowing, the other 97 1/3 posts are not. Love the avatar. Best of luck to you.

I don't think we do either unless it is a small amount. I have never earned anything from MyLot on a day I didn't post.

Hello lovelylady. From what I can decipher, you will earn from your discussion if you have generated at least 10 responses. I'm not so sure about your case though. Maybe, you will be credited by tomorrow. Truth to tell, until now, I still can't figure out how mylot algorithm works. All I know is that our earnings are decreasing more and more everyday.

I think you need to log on and respond to at least one discussion to gain from responses to your discussions. But as mylot is quite discreet in its ways of doing things I could be wrong!

I haven't been able to figure it out either. On days I haven't posted I haven't made anything, so I'm thinking we don't get paid for responses, but only what we post. And, I've also not noticed an increase when I start posts. Does anyone know if we get paid more for starting a post? At least it's fun here and we do get paid a little for talking to our friends and learning things.

No you don't but it is only fair that you appreciate the responses People have left and that you acknowledge them to I always do but I am mainly here for my Friends and for the Discussions as I really enjoy them and if I don't get paid for responding back it does not bother me

Tis true believe it or not. We are paid for our participation and of course that is not spelled out in the guidelines which are really more like suggestions however they are enforced unevenly and at our expense sometimes. So with referrals at least one you can make a little pocket change on a day you don't physically post something. Good luck in the future with this.

That doesn't really bother me. It's ok if I don't get paid for the responses I get for the discussions I started. But I think there's a certain amount of responses you should get before you get paid, I honestly have not read about it lately in mylot. But I'm pretty sure though you get paid for it even only for a little bit.

yeah, i've noticed that too. i also think that you get more earnings in aswering discussions, rather than making one.. at least in my experience, that's true. But i never really understand how mylot pays us. it's a complete mystery for me. i'm just thankful that they DO pay us. lol.. But it would be better though, if the payment IN's and OUT's would be known to us mylotters. It would really help augment our earnings if we knew how the payment system works. =D

We do. :) I can confirm that for myself because I posted 1 discussion and earned 14 cents the following day. (I also earn more when posting my own) but lately I can't be bothered :) Well not as much as we used to. I'm not sure what's going on with you by maybe it was just a glitch? I have been back dated money too, one time i earned $3.4(something) and the next day it was replaced with $4.07 Kudos, ~Joey

I've never been able to come close to figuring out the payments and actually myLot wants it that way - I'm just happy to have a place I can have fun, learn, meet new people and make some spending money.

It sometimes takes quite awhile for earnings to be posted. I can tell you we do get paid for responses we make.

You get paid only to one response. But more responses means it will be added to your ratings. The more the rating the more the earnings. Mylot has system of paying 1 to 10 cents per discussion depending upon your rating.

I think we get something for the 1st response. After that, I'm not sure. I read in another discussion awhile back someone thought we might get something for the 10th response too. Anymore than that, I just don't know?

I honestly have no idea for sure but it was of my belief that we didn't get anything for people posting on our responses - but just for us starting the discussion. But I could be wrong. Maybe zukepr or lydia1901 will know more about it though. I would look to their responses :)

I never pay attention to that. I just know that my earning is updated every day, I can't remember how many responses and topics I posted, and how many responses I got. I kind of posted away everyday and all I know is that my post count increases and earnings too.

I think you have a point there. There are days when I don't make a post but I do know that I have received responses, however I did not receive any earnings at all. I guess we earn only from our posts.
