Hey, I just started a topic about this. :) Put in frozen water bottles (like soda bottles). Just fill them with water 2/3 of the way, put in the freezer over night and then in the cage when you leave for work. If your rabbits have an appropriately sized cage, you should be able to use 2 Liter soda bottles if needed. But if they're in a tiny pet store cage, at least smaller bottles will still help. Make sure you continue to give them unlimited water and hay as well. If they're housed on carpet, you can put linoleum sheets down because that's cooler for them. And if they're in a small cramped space, larger is better for ventilation. 1 rabbit should have a minimum of 8 square feet of space.

This really does work. Our rbbits are housed in a barn, and it doesn't get very hot in there even in the worst heat of the day, but still warm. We have used the bottle for many years. This last year, we also tried floor times. I haven't used the linoleum, but ceramic. They stay cool, and the rabbit can lay on them. Although there was advise earlier of a fan blowing on them,. I do not advise this. Maybe circulating air in the room, but not directly on them. Rabbits should be kept from a draft any time of the year.

Make sure there is a breeze, and that they have lost of water and food. Leave the windows open if you are keeping them inside so the air circulates and take them outside into the shade as much s possible.

Outside in the shade they can still overheat. I wouldn't put them outside to keep them cooler, as in the heat of the day it's still usually better inside. Open a window to cool the house once it gets cooler outside than inside.

If it's inside, do a have a fan you can have blowing on it? If it's outside, make sure it's got lots of shade covering his house. Also whether it's inside or outside, make sure it has a lot of fresh water.
