what will you do if your boyfriend hits you ?

I believe that a man has no right to hit his girl.. Well, unless a guy catches his girl cheating, but nothing too violent lol. If my boyfriend did that to me and I know that I didn't do anything wrong, I'd really leave him and it doesn't matter if I love him a lot. Once he raises his hand on me and I'm not at fault, it's definitely a "goodbye".

Boyfriend don't have the right to hit us since they are not the one who feed us. I can't tolerate that issue, maybe atfirst since I love him I can forgive him and give him another chance but if he continue doing that I will leave him, I will try to teach myself to forget him because for me if he can do that while you are still in boy friend-girlfriend status how much more if you are already both married? We should find a guy that can't beat and hit us. My parents brought me up and they are the one who provide me till we meet then he will do that to me. It would be unfair you already meet when you were in the right age already so he doesn't have the right to do that for you even my parent don't do that how much more he is. A loving man won't hurt you he will take care of you and let you feel you are treated like a princess...

Anybody has no right to hit or beat you! If I am in that situation I will leave my boyfriend immediately..because he don't respect me anymore..and once he do that to you, he will do it over and over again if you still stay to him..and if we really love someone we respect them and treat them nice! As much as possible we want them to be always happy and once you see them unhappy you also feel unhappy.

No I don't think any human being should hit another human being. I don't like the use of violence at all and we are living in civilized countries! If my boyfriend hits me somehow, I would send him to jail immediately. I wouldn't run away and I would call the police right there! I won't tolerate men like that. And I believe if I tolerate for once, then there would be a twice and third time. Relationship is all about love, commitment and care, it doesn't say "hit me and I will love you!". It makes me mad hearing stuff like that!

I don't know if I could ever again speak to a boyfriend who intentionally hit me, or any guy, actually. Or any person! My parents were very strict with that, my brother could not by any means lay a finger on me and I have that with me always.. so if a guy were to hit me I think I would dump him. I respect myself too much to allow some guy to mistreat me that way, I have standards for myself, I certainly can find someone better than that. Men that hit women are so cowardly, I could never be with someone like that.

yeah. I think any people don't have the right to hit others. so do the boyfriend. I don't like any violence. but sometimes your girlfriend hit u softly, that's exception. huh.

If that was my boyfriend, I would leave him. If there is a first time, I'm sure there will be a second,third..... It's silly to stay in such an abusive kind of relationship.

I agree, but unfortunately this does happen if a guy hit me in the face, I would probably give them a swift and hard kick between the legs and run! Because I know that the guy would probably have more strength and it would be dumb to try to fight him back. That is what I would do, fortunately my guy is not like that. =)

I am absolutely against any sort of violence. I would not put up with it for a second. I wouldn't put myself through it and I wouldn't want my daughter seeing that sort of violence. I've always said the first time I guy hits me I would leave him in a heartbeat.

Nobody can hit me, especially my boyfriend. If he dares to do so, then our relationship will be end. No matter what, a boy should never hit his girl. I totally agree with you in this point.

Unfortunately this can happen to both men and women. When it does it is very important to file charges against them. You will help anyone else from falling prey to them. Abuse can take other forms as well. A person can attempt to extort money from you or work in exchange for a place to live: which is called slavery. Many forms of abuse out there. i think it is wrong that he should ever hit a girl. the sad thing is even if she gets out of the relationship he will be in the exact same kind in a very short time with someone else. i don't understand how bad people always find nice people & ruin their lives while the good people can never find a good person to be happy with.

men that hit...don't know what to do with their feelings...so they take it out on someone close to them. Once an abuser...always one! If a man hits, hit him back! If he doesn't straighten up, show him the door! Women should be respected and loved. NOT someone's punching bag or doormat.

i will definitely leave him... there is no reason at all for a man to hit a woman... he is still guilty no matter what happened... in my country, if a man hits a woman, he will definitely lose if the woman sue him to the court... he can face jail punishment...

There is no excuse for a man to hit a woman or a woman a man violence solves nothing. I would leave him right away and have him charged it is just not acceptable.

Were I to witness that, I'd take out my digital camera, and get a picture of one or both, if I could, to show the police what I had seen. As for my boyfriend hitting me, if he ever hit me, or if I were to hit him (neither one of us would do that!) it would end the relationship.

I watched my mum get beaten from my stepdad and she stayed with him for 9 years! But I have always said, the first time there is any sign of violence then that's it I'm off. I am not gonna stand for that!

absolutely. A girl should be given more respect. Yes that does not mena that a girl is never wrong. But a ma should make her understand but not beat. A scolding is ok, but not beyond that. I feel sorry for that girl. Hope things go fine for them soon.

You are so right no matter what happens boyfriend or husbands or any man cant do that to the girls(girl friend or wifes) It s not right because lots of girl not strong as man s are they have to be protected.
