Yes... You cannot be saved and consider yourself a Christian without attending Church. There are people out there who are Good people, but God is the only one who can save you, and Salvation is something you find in a Church.

Not necessarily. A Christian is one who follows Christ and His teachings, a church is a building. People who go to church can be supportive of one another and that can bolster faith, but I don't believe you have to go to a church in order to follow Christ, it's just easier.

The bible tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves. It is important to go to church to be with other people of the same beliefs so that you can draw strength like from a support group. It is also important to go to church to hear the word of God. The bible says "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Do you read the bible enough at home to keep your faith strong? We also get fresh revelation from going to church to hear the word. I used to think like you about the Christians that don't act Christian. It kept me away from church for a lot of years. I finally came to the knowledge that you need to concentrate on the word and what God is speaking to you to do. Now I look forward to going to church. It is a choice that each individual must make but please search for your answer in the Bible. The Bible is a Christian's set of instructions. God bless you.

no,i am a christian and i believe in god,but i think i don't believe in church so much..especially after seeing how most of the priests are, that has nothing to do with religion and a life full of compassion..so i rather pray at home, and when i feel the need to,but when i pray i really mean it,instead of being a regular visitor to the church but to go there just because this is something i should do

I think that a main problem with Christianity as a whole is that people are slipping into too much of a routine, like Church as we know it. Personally, I don't believe in Church. When I go, I don't get anything out of it. The whole purpose of it is to set out time out of your life to experience God, and if you aren't doing it at Church, then you should be finding some other time during the week to do this. Also, Christians need other Christians, so maybe going to a Church is the answer for you. But, for me, I have Christian friends outside of Church, and if I wasn't forced to go, I probably wouldn't, but I could still call myself a Christian. If I didn't take any time out of the week if I didn't go, then I would feel guilty, so as long as I still held that close relationship with God, going to Church doesn't really matter a whole lot to me and my Christianity.
