Frustrated with Mylot? Try Associated Content

I tend to write LONG letters, articles, reviews, etc. Because of how long my writtings usually are, I write everything in a word processor so that I can save it often, and then I can copy and paste my writting where I want it. Well that is not the case here at Mylot, unless you have already posted 500 messages, you can not paste in anything! This to me is so frustrating that I am about ready to leave again, and not return. I have posted so many GOOD responces to discussions on Mylot, and started a number of my own. I am well over 500 post, but Mylot does not count exact post, in fact I have not yet figured out how they determine which post to count and which to ignore. I do know one thing though. I am making $4.00 - $5.00 for EACH article I write at Associated Content and not only do I make that for EACH thing I write and submit, I am paid in my Paypal account within days of my article being published! It gets even better still, Paypal does NOT charge anything at all for med to recieve money from AC!
So if you are a long writer like me, and rely on being able to paste a document so that you don't loose it, then you need to write for AC, they are great and they pay, immediatly for each article published. If you sign up, please use my link, as they also give referal bonuses. I signed up under someone here on Mylot back in Jan. Don't remember who it was, but sure am greatful for them posting their AC post. Here's the link; http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=48477

I like AC as well. I make about $100 a month from the initial payments. And, I also get bonuses for page views.

I haven't been writting for them long enough to benefit from page views yet. I signed up in Jan, and submitted an article, but never heard from them, I never got an e-mail, but they did make me an offer on my first article, I just never knew about it until two weeks ago after we relocated and I started getting back into my writting, LOL

My response is not about AC, but about post counts here on mylot.
The way I understand it, you added to your total post # when you started this discussion. I just added to my count when I reply to this. Now, if you or someone else replies to this reply [my reply, not your discussion] I'm not sure that counts.
So,to help your total post count, always hit to reply to the beginning of the discussion, not one the replies to it. I hope that makes sense and helps!

Yeah, that makes sense, but it's not fair. How can you respond to someone who responded to you, like now, and have it make any sense at all when done via the original post? Know what I mean? Look at your number, you are not even half way to your 500 yet, and you have been an active member for over 6 months! It's just not right.

Hey there lady : )
Now you tell me about that, LOL However, that don't work when replying to a reply as I am doing now does it? Or does it? : ) And no, I won't leave Mylot, but I sure was ticked off when my post got eatten. It was a great article and I was going to place it on AC and Helium too : (

I have written for A/C for almost a year. At the rate mylot is going, it would be much better to write a few articles each week. The rate per post her has plummeted over the last 6 months. I just got out of practice writing since it is not my main area of interest. Word for word, A/C pays much better. So it is aquestion of how to spend the time, interacting here with some nice people or writing articles.

I have joined them and it is a good site. If you like to write, then this is for you. The only catch is that it is for US residents only at this time. I don't know if that will change but perhaps in the future they'll have one for an International Associated Content.

Thank you for pointing that out, I did not know that. Perhaps if we all write them and voice we want them to go International, maybe they will get one going. They may not too, but you never know. Thanks again for pointing out that they are not yet International.

No problem at all. I think that if it is requested, I could see it perhaps down the road like I stated before. I think it's a good service overall. I've been paid by them and would give my recommendation for it if you like to write for sure.

thank you so much for this idea.
yesterday actually i was posting something extremely long, around paragraphs and as i accidentally experienced (as you did) that you cannot copy-paste on mylot, i just wrote it write in and then pasted it into word to save it. then i accidentally refreshed the page and i lost all my work...which really sucked...
well im gonna check out associated content now, thanks for the info, but fore sure, im still gonna keep up with mylot to make a little extra because i8 really do like this website.
once again..THANKS =)

You are very welcome! I am very impressed with them. So far they have published everything I submitted. I am not getting a lot for each, but I am also not going exclusive either as I have these articles posted on my sites too. So it's pretty good considering they are articles I am putting on my site too.
