Are you a Good Person?

that's a good question, though. yeah, i can say that i'm a good person. I don't offend people intentionally, i don't want to see someone hurt and i hate people who hurt their fellows. But i'm not saying that i'm perfect and too good..no one is perfect. I became bad sometimes. Of course, we have to be bad sometimes, just to have spice on our lives...for adventures. We'll never learn to be good unless we became bad. Because doing wrong things help us realize good things after all. and sometimes, it will make us more stronger in facing reality...just try to learn from your mistakes.

I am a good person and I like the myself actually. Those who are not sure that they like themselves, really has a problem. I can always look any person straight in the eyes because I know I have done thing bad and that I am not malicious or did anything intentionally that would harm another person. Making mistakes is normal. It's the intention that matters and the choices that we make that make us bad or good.

It's not a sily question. MOst of the people aren't so good and kind to you. I can say I am a good person, I don't like hurting others. I like to amek everyone happy, because I am happy if they are to :).

I've never considered myself to be a bad person. You're right, we all make mistakes. And I too don't know if I would repeat it all exactly the way I did it. I don't think I would repeat the same mistakes. If I've hurt anyone, I feel regret and feel happy if I've made anyone feel special. I think I have a good heart. But I also think there's room for improvement. I can always be a better person and that is my goal in my lifetime.

On the whole I think I am a good person - I do make mistakes and worry about the effect I have on others but would never try and hurt someones feelings - if I have to say something negative I always look for the bright side and concentrate on that part! Maybe my teenage son would tell you differently when I won't let him have his own way but for the most part I am a good person - or at least I try to be! xx

your someone who will hurt anybody slowly...lol kidding :) i cant say i am, its conceited lol:) but other says i am, other says im not approachable..and i can be optimist or pessimist :) both, so i'd say generally, im pretty hahaha, its far from the topic, but that's what my mom says lol :( hope this exercises your brain, coz i know your a bit confused to my answer right now..good day :) mwah!

Does anyone ever really believe that they are bad people? I doubt it. I think I'm a good person and yes I do evaluate my actions from time to time. I also stop and think before I do something and weigh the consequences before I act. This morning my mom left to go home after a brief visit. She thanked me for giving her the attention she needed and said "you are a good person" and that's good enough for me.

Hi. I dont think this is a silly question, I too often think back and compare how I use to be to where I am and who I am today, and Im quiet proud myself, that I have come along way... I dont think Ive ever harmed anyone or was a bad person in the past right up to now days... I consider myself to be a genuine good person...

It really depends on what you mean by Good Person. When i look back to my life, i sometimes realize that i wont do things the same as i would today but i look at this a bit differently. As we grow, you learn things in life and you get experiences from everything. You keep having more knowledge therefore your acts change based on these knowledges. I believe that everyone has a good side and a bad side to his/her. It is really important to manage to embrace the good qualities and try to become a peace maker.

This is actually a deep question, i should say. I was thinking about this earlier and I just asked myself why it was so hard to be a good person. A lot of people say Im good but I know that deep down inside I am just controlling lots of things and i could be the meanest person in a flicker. People are good by nature but why is it easier to be bad than to be good? There are times when its really difficult to control my temper or i get easily irritated with the stubbornness of some people. I think I can conclude that I am not a good person just trying my best to be one.

Hello LightninStrike, First of all, it doesn't sound silly to me. This is important to us, to sit and think whether we are a good or bad person. After thinking of the plus, minus, pros and cons, I came to a conclusion myself that I belong to the same group like you do :) Sometimes, I do think whether I have done enough, good enough in the past or I could do better. Sometimes, I do think how many hearts have been hurt by my act and am I a bad person if I disagree with a lot of people or if I just ignore some important matters in my life, will it make me a bad person? But all in, all out ... I think I am still a good person. I still don't have the heart to hurt people, to let people down and to make others around me as happy as I am. Do you think this is enough for you to decide whether I am good or bad? Ah, I am just kidding, friend!

Everyone makes mistakes..it is part of life..it is whether or not you learn from your mistakes, or keep repeating them that matters most. The biggest mistakes I make are matters of the heart usually...falling too hard too fast..this has been a lesson hard for me to learn. But I do have to say for the most part I do learn by mistakes. I am a do unto others as you would want them to do to you kinda person..I tend to treat people the way I would want them to treat me. I tend to be the sort of person who is more concerned about the feelings of people around me then my own. So I guess I can say I'm a good person!?

I would say, I am no bad person nor a good person either. As human, I always have this animalistic nature in me that people seems unnoticed but as a person I am, I know I can able to control such feeling of negative within myself and towards other people and through by helping my own self doing my very best to do good things towards my fellow and even to my own self...I can clearly say then, that at least half of my self nature as human being, there has to be a good side part in me.

I wasn't bad all the time. But I tell you as human as we are temptations along the way comes and always flirtious. As a Christian, I always try to do good things. I wanted people to see a Christian life within me. I think most of my friends know I am a good person. What everybody doesn't know are the bad things I think or have done without their knowledge. I think it is important that when we have committed mistakes or have done soemthing wrong, we still strive to be good. Fighting temptations to sinning isn't an easy task but with prayers and repentance, God is willing to clean us and forgive.
