What is Ann Coulters problem?

I don't know much about her, but I am convinced that the majority of what comes out of her mouth is nothing more than a cheap attempt to sell books. I also think that she is a bit of an attention hog. She just wants to hear and see her name in the media. She doesn't seem to care how low she has to sink to do it.

She's saying what her followers want her to say. I don't like her or what she stands for. I also think she's a witch. But how is she any different from those stand-up comedians who put down people and call them names? Coulter even claims she's joking. Any party who wants any part of her I will not support. Ever notice how Sean Hannity oohs and aaahs over her. I swear he needs a dribble bib when Coulter comes on to Hannity and Colmes. What I really hate is when someone calls her card, she claims what she says is the truth, but she can never cite her sources. So what is it, Ann? A joke or the truth?

I saw a TV show this morning where Mrs. Edwards gave her a piece of her mind. If it was me I would have curled up in shame when Mrs. Edwards got through with me.

I just saw her on Fox news, surprisingly O'Reilly was giving her quite a hard time, maybe to try and convince people they are 'fair and balanced'. Which we all know is complete rubbish. I hope she doesn't concider herself a professional journalist because she has no objectivity at all. And I bet she really doesn't mind having to backtrack on all the hatefull things she says because at the end of the day she's getting exactly what she wants from it and that's sales of her hateful books. I can't stand Conservatives who focus more on what's wrong with Liberalism than what's good about Conservativism, or visa versa.

Obviously you dont understand her. She is playing to her fans. Hate sells to them. If you buy her book you are saying that hate speech is good and you shouldnt allow anyone else a platform to rebut it.

Isn't she a mess?! She is like a train wreck: You don't want to watch, yet you just can't turn away. I did not see the segment that you mention. If I see her on TV I immediately change the channel. Personally, I think she is a very sick person who needs psychological help. If that is the only way she knows how to make money, then she needs to go back to school and learn an honest trade! LOL It won't surprise me if someday I hear that someone has tried to kill her!

ann coulter is a man in disguise. I swear that song "Dude, looks like a lady" totally applies to her, or should I say him.

Some people are just evil, and I don't have time for people like that. Why do people think they need to rip up another to better themselves? Why don't they realize they are doing the total opposite, and making themselves look bad?

Okay I just viewed the clip on youtube.com. It's hard to watch Coulter because she doesn't let anyone else get a word in edgewise. She interrupts. A lot. Very obnoxious! But she kept saying how John Edwards' capmaign is using her comments to raise campaign money. So then I checked out John Edwards' website and they have the clip on there, saying "It's up to us to raise the dialogue by taking our message straight to voters. Let's show that Ann Coulter style politics will never carry the day.We have 4 days to reach $9 million. Please donate today". I totally agree with Elizabeth Edwards that Ann Coulter's remarks are disgusting, but I sure as heck wouldn't then go and put her face on my website. Why are they giving this woman more publicity? Ann Coulter isn't running for president!

It's all about the money, soccermom. Ann Coulter rakes in big bucks based on her personna. I haven't heard what she said to Elizabeth Edwards but I will check Youtube and see if I can find the clip. I agree with you, she's very nasty and very negative! But she's smarter than me because she's a millionaire and I'm not, lol

I wish I'd have seen this discussion in the beginning too! I can't add a whole lot to what's already been posted here except to say I'm stunned that there have been a few who have defended her. Unbelieveable! Annie

I am not also a fan of Ann nor do i hate her also , i liked her book The Case Against Bill Clinton but other than that all her works didnt made my reading worth while , yes she is a loud mouth person and that too with a preety face so some people listen to her stories , not me. You won't get any argument from me, but I heard from a source who has had contact with her that she is really nothing like she appears. She created this personna and it garners her a lot of attention which reflects in her book sales. She is the one that many love to hate and apparently, she doesn't mind as she is probably smiling all the way to the bank.

Ann Coulter is someone with incredibly low esteem where she feels the need to denigrate someone else in order to elevate herself. I remember when she called anyone concerned about the environment a "religious nut". Equating religion and the envrionment. Very interesting. She is hurtful and should be thankful she does life in a country where she had the freedom to express herself. We have control over the remote control and I excercise it when she talks. I commend Elizabeth Edwards for standing up to Ann. Ann proved herself a fool.
