I'm gonna be working at the taste all 10 days. Why does anyone go there, it's so horrible. Seriously why do you go?

The taste of chicago is a horrible 10 day event by the lake where 100s of thosands of people crowd around tents to eat carnival food.

Oh we have a taste of Pinellas and people have to buy tickets... it's 8 tickets for $10 - $2 goes to charity (thus you only get 8 tickets). The food is terrible and it's 5+ tickets for anyone item. I feel your pain.

For the food ofcourse!!! Though I don't think I'd want to work there, specially as hot as it usually gets out there. Romie06

I grew up in Chicago, and I never once ever had any desire to go down to that lol. Too friggin crowded for me. I do remember my friend from high school going though, he was funny but rather obnoxious sometimes, everybody's buddy though. Now, this is "his" version of the story... He got drunk, and was standing in line at some place. Turned to the guy behind him and said "Hey-pull my finger!!" Turns out it was an undercover cop, cop takes him slams him down, cuffs him, throws him in a paddy wagon with a bunch of other drunks lol. He actually went to jail!! He said they literally beat the crap out of him(he was all black and blue), and they stole his money out of his wallet at the jail too lol. I said, well, that'll teach ya :) Funny, everytime I hear about The Taste, I think of that lol.
