I had worked as a nurse for eight years.I feel bored cause everyday I did exactly the same. Then I quit and decided to become a sales for medical devices. It has been two years since then.Although sometimes its very tiring and you can be denied from time to time,I still enjoy it.I told my parents until one year later, they were extremely angry and confused. For them, its common to have a life-long career. But now it seems that they begin to understand and accept this. How about you?Do you think its normal to change your job?

I think it is normal. People need new challenges as well as a new environment every so often.
I started my own business 3 years ago and I love it. I own my own landscaping company. I focus on the design and maintenance of flower beds not so much mowing. It is what I want to do. I decided to work for me rather than someone else who will live in a nicer home than I at the measly wages they pay.
You should do what you love.

i agree with coolseeds.
i started out as an accountant and although money and figures excites me i'd rather be watching my own money passing through my journals...
i was sick of watching billions of $ travel back and forth to other companies, so...i started and completed my i.t. training and i'm now a successful owner of a computer company. i dropped everything that i knew and started doing something completely different.
never let anything stop you.
your skill can take you from point A to point B but your imagination can take you anywhere...

After my graduation, I changed my job quite often. As at that time I didn't know which job I liked to work. So sometimes I would give up when I met some difficulties. Now I am already settled down. This year is the 10th year for me to work in a trading company.

I had worked as Instrumentation Engg. in Cement Industry for 1 Year.I left that job because i was dreaming for IT industry.Life was tuff in Cement Industry. You have to suffer from dust for whole day. Also, sometimes you need to work for more than 18 hours as plant runs for 24 hours.
Now, i am working for good IT company.Till now , i am satisfied with my decisin.I think, in you case also your decision was right.Work Satisfaction also matters.
