I confess, I pulled a funny while we were on vacation last week

I'm going to embarrass myself but I'll still tell you what funny I pulled. It was Friday morning and our first morning in Tuscaloosa. My husband, bless his heart, is the world's worst to wait until the last minute to look for something that he needs, and in this case it was the phone charger for his cell phone (I mean, he could have charged it up while we were asleep right, LOL). Anyway, he had looked through the luggage and all the extra bags we had in the room and still couldn't find it so he woke me up to see if I knew where it was. Since he already gone through everything else I figured it had to be in one of the bags we had left in the car. I told him I would go see because (don't let him know I'm telling this, LOL) he was just in his underwear and couldn't go out to our car which was parked right outside our room. Thankfully we were on the bottom floor. I was wearing my nightgown which went to the floor. This gown had spaghetti straps and it was a purple background leopard print gown. I told Steve "I'm decent and hopefully no one will come out when I go to the car." So I opened the door and carefully looked every direction. Seeing no one I went ahead and started to our car and suddenly, doggone it, the door to the room next door opened up and this man came walking out. Needless to say he had a surprised look on his face. I instinctly covered my arms across my chest and said "Excuse me!" My face was turning blood red and my hair looked like PeeWee Herman!! I ran to the car, thankfully found the bag with the charger in and ran back to the room as fast as I could!! I never did see that gentleman again Thank the Lord!!! My husband was, of course, standing there getting a hoot and a holler out of it. :) :) That night when I put my nightgown back on to get ready for bed he was kidding me and said "Have you got anywhere else to go hon?" I just looked at him and said "Meow". Ha! Ha! Life can be full of surprises can't it? I hope this will give someone a good chuckle.
